국문 초록

수학교육의 중요한 목표 중의 하나는 수학적 사고력의 향상일 것이다. 이를 위해 지금까지 여러 가지 교구, 활동, 지도방법, 수업모형 등에 관한 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 하지만 수학 수업에서 이루어지는 교사와 학생, 학생과 학생 사이의 의사소통을 통한 상호작용의 질이 향상되지 않는다면 수학적 사고력 신장의 효과는 그다지 크지 않을 것이다. 따라서 본 고에서는 수학적 의사소통 방식을 깔때기 유형과 초점형 유형으로 구분하고, 각 유형의 특징을 구체적 사례를 통해 비교하고자 한다. 그런 다음, 우리의 현 상황을 알아보고자 한 초등학교 1학년 수학 수업사례를 초점형 유형의 관점에서 분석함으로써 바람직한 유형의 의사소통을 통한 수학적 사고력 신장에 대한 시사점을 얻고자 한다.

영문 초록

One of the important objectives of mathematics education is to develope mathematical thinking abilities. To do this, many researches on teaching materials, activities, teaching methods, instruction models have been carried out. But, if the quality of interaction via communication between teacher and students, among the students does not improve, the effect for development of mathematical thinking abilities maybe does not enhance. In this paper, I classify mathematical communication patterns into funnel pattern and focusing pattern, and compare distinctive characteristics of two patterns with specific mathematics lesson cases. And to examine our present state I analyze one elementary school 1st grade mathematics lesson case. On the basis of this analysis I get implication for development of mathematical thinking abilities by means of mathematical communication of desirable pattern.
