초등학생의 스트레스가 인터넷 중독에 미치는 영향 - 역기능적 인지변인의 매개효과-

국문 초록

본 연구는 스트레스와 인터넷 중독 간의 관계뿐만 아니라 두 변인 간의 관계에서 역기능적 인지변인인 우울기제, 불안기제, 그리고 공격성기제의 매개효과를 알아보았다. 총 464명의 초등학생들이 연구에 참여하였으며 연구결과 분석을 위해 위계적 중다회귀분석을 사용하였다. 연구결과 역기능적 인지변인 중 공격성기제 변인만이 스트레스와 인터넷 중독의 관계에 있어 완전 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 우울기제와 불안기제의 역기능적 인지 변인들은 스트레스와 인터넷 중독 변인간의 관계에 있어 매개역할을 하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 스트레스와 역기능적인 인지변인들의 상호 작용을 통한 역기능적 인지변인의 중재 효과는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과를 통해 스트레스가 높은 학생들의 인터넷 중독을 예방하는데 있어 역기능적 인지변인 중 공격성기제 변인의 중요한 역할을 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 인터넷 중독을 위한 상담프로그램 관련 연구결과의 함의를 논하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, we examined the function of depression, anxiety, and aggression as dysfunctional schemas in the relationship between stress and internet addiction. A total of 464 elementary school students participated in this study. To analyze the data, hierarchical regression analysis was conducted. The results indicated that only aggression fully mediated the relationship between stress and internet addiction. On the other hand, other dysfunctional schemas such as depression and anxiety did not mediate the relationship bewteen stress and internet addiction. In addition, three dysfunctional schemas such as depression, anxiety, and aggression did not moderate the relationship between stress and internet addictions. As a result, decreasing aggression is important to reduce internet addiction for students who have high stress. Finally, the implications of the findings were discussed in the context of stress, dysfunctional schemas, and internet addiction.
