국문 초록

목적 :작업치료사와 물리치료사의 일반적 특성과 노인에 대한 성지식과 성태도를 알아보고, 어떠한 관계가 있는가를 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법 : 노인요양병원, 종합병원, 재활병원, 대학병원, 개인병원 등 임상에 근무하는 물리치료사와 작업치료사 248명을 대상으로 노인의 성에 관한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 : 연구 대상자들의 총점 평균은 성지식이 70.713 ± 11.221점, 성태도가 81.81 ± 18.72점으로 노인의 성지식은 나이가 많을수록, 혼인을 할수록, 임상경력이 많을수록, 건강할수록, 노인과의 만남이 잦을수록 높다는 유의한 결과를 보였다. 성태도는 여자보다는 남자가, 나이가 적은 사람보다는 많은 사람이, 임상경력이 적은 사람보다는 많은 사람이, 치료업무가 자신과 잘 맞을수록 개방적이라는 상관관계가 있었다. 노인의 성지식에 영향을 미치는 요인은 자신의 성향과 잘 맞는가에 대한 척도, 성별, 나이였으며 성태도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 자신의 성향과 잘 맞는가에 대한 척도뿐이었다. 결론 : 노년층의 활발한 성 활동 가능성에 대한 이해와 노인의 성에 대해 친밀한 관계를 유지하기 위에 그에 맞는 성교육 및 중재 프로그램이 필요하며 이를 노인요양병원 뿐만 아니라 대학병원, 재활병원, 개인의원 등 다양한 장소에서 시행될 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

Objective : The purpose of this study is to investigate general characteristics of occupational therapists and, physical therapists sexual knowledge and sexual Attitudes about the elderly, and the relationship between them. Method : The subjects of this study were 248 physiotherapists and occupational therapists working in clinics such as elderly nursing homes, general hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, university hospitals, and private hospitals. Result : The total score of sexual knowledge was 70.713 ± 11.221 and the total score of sexual Attitudes was 81.81 ± 18.72. The knowledge of the elderly was increased significant with age, marriage, clinical career, health, and meeting with the elderly. There was a correlation between sex and sexuality in men rather than women, more people with lower age, more people with less clinical experience, and better treatment with oneself. The factors affecting sexual knowledge of the elderly were the scale, sex, and age that fit well with their inclination, and the only factors that affect the sexuality were the ones that fit well with their inclination. Conclusion : In order to maintain a close relationship with the elderly, it is necessary to have appropriate sexual education and intervention programs in order to maintain a close relationship with the elderly, and it should be implemented at various places such as university hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, private clinic etc.
