국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 청소년의 비행경험이 자해행동에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 우울에 의한 부정적 자아인식의 조절된 매개효과가 있는지를 알아보는 것이다. 연구대상자는 한국청소년정책연구원의 ‘2021년 10대 청소년의 정신건강 실태조사’ 데이터 중 초중고 재학생 6,689명이며 Macro Process for SPSS 프로그램을 활용하여 조절된 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 비행경험과 자해행동 간의 관계에서 부정적 자아인식의 매개효과를 살펴본 결과, 부정적 자아인식은 비행경험이 자해행동에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 매개효과가 있는 것을 확인하였다. 부트스트래핑 분석을 통한 부정적 자아인식의 간접효과 유의성 검증을 실시한 결과에서도 매개효과는 통계적으로 유의미하였다. 둘째, 매개변수인 부정적 자아인식과 종속변수인 자해행동 간의 관계에서 우울이 조절 역할을 하는지를 알아보기 위하여 조절효과 분석을 실시한 결과, 우울이 부정적 자아인식과 자해행동 간의 관계에서 조절효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 청소년의 비행경험이 자해행동에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 우울에 의한 부정적 자아인식의 조절된 매개효과 분석을 실시한 결과, 청소년의 비행경험이 자해행동에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 우울에 의한 부정적 자아인식의 조절된 매개효과는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 청소년의 자해행동을 줄이기 위한 방안으로 비행경험 청소년에 대한 관심과 다양한 프로그램 개발, 부정적 자아인식을 낮추기 위한 자존감 향상 프로그램 등의 확대 그리고 청소년 우울을 줄이기 위한 다양한 노력이 필요하다는 것을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a moderated mediating effect of negative self-perception due to depression in the process in which adolescents' delinquent experience affects self-harm behavior. The subjects of the study were 6,689 elementary, middle, and high school students from the Korea Youth Policy Institute's ‘2021 Mental Health Survey of Teenagers’ data, and the adjusted mediation effect was verified using the Macro Process for SPSS program. The research results are as follows. First, as a result of examining the mediating effect of negative self-perception in the relationship between delinquency experience and self-harm behavior, it was confirmed that negative self-perception has a mediating effect in the process of delinquency experience influencing self-harm behavior. As a result of testing the significance of the indirect effect of negative self-perception through bootstrapping analysis, the mediating effect was statistically significant. Second, as a result of conducting a moderating effect analysis to determine whether depression plays a moderating role in the relationship between negative self-awareness, which is a mediating variable, and self-harming behavior, which is a dependent variable, it was found that depression has a moderating effect on the relationship between negative self-awareness and self-harming behavior, which is a dependent variable. Third, as a result of analyzing the moderated mediating effect of negative self-perception due to depression in the process of adolescents' delinquent experience influencing self-harm behavior, the results showed that negative self-perception due to depression was found in the process of adolescent delinquent experience influencing self-harm behavior. The moderated mediation effect of was found to be significant. Based on these results, as a way to reduce self-injurious behavior among adolescents, interest in adolescents with delinquent experience, development of various programs, expansion of self-esteem improvement programs to lower negative self-perception, and various efforts to reduce adolescent depression are needed.
