Primary renal tumors in dogs are rare, comprising approximately 2% of canine neoplasms, including renal cell carcinoma (RCC), nephroblastoma, and sarcoma. This study presents a four-year-old Toy Poodle diagnosed with a renal mass using computed tomography (CT), which revealed a 7.5 × 6.3 × 4.2 cm tumor originating from the cranial pole of the right kidney with suspected metastasis. CT imaging highlighted distinctive vascular enhancement and mass invasion patterns, suggesting RCC as the most probable diagnosis. Although histopathological confirmation was not achieved, this case highlights the critical role of CT in differentiating renal tumor types and guiding diagnosis and treatment. Future studies correlating imaging and pathology are essential to improve prognostic accuracy for canine renal tumors.
