국문 초록

본 연구는 클라이언트 사망을 경험한 사회복지사의 회복을 돕기 위해 윌리엄 워든의 애도 4단계모델을 적용한 집단인지행동치료를 개발하고 효과성을 검증하기 위해 실시되었다. 연구의 목적을달성하기 위해 실험집단과 비교집단에게 지속적 비애, 외상 후 스트레스 증상, 불안, 우울에 대한사전, 사후 검사를 실시하였으며, 실험집단은 매 회기 시작 전·후에 불편감 점수를 작성하였다. 본집단인지행동치료는 코로나19 팬데믹으로 온라인으로 진행되었다. 연구 결과 실험집단은 지속적 비애점수가 통계적으로 유의하게 낮아진 것으로 나타났으며, 외상 후 스트레스 증상, 불안, 우울은 사전점수보다 사후점수가 낮아졌으나 통계적으로 유의성은 없는 것으로 나타났다. 매 회기 전·후로 실시한실험집단 참여자들의 불편감 점수 역시 감소된 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 클라이언트사망을 경험한 사회복지사의 회복을 돕기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The objective of this study was to develop and validate a group cognitive behavioral therapy based on William Worden's four-stage grief model for social workers who have experienced client death. For this study, both the experimental group and the comparison group completed pre-tests and post-tests to assess their levels of prolonged grief, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. In addition, the experimental group completed SUDs before and after each session. This group cognitive behavioral therapy was conducted online due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The study revealed that the experimental group had a significantly lower prolonged grief score. Furthermore, their post-traumatic stress symptoms, anxiety, and depression were found to be lower than their pre-score, although this difference was not statistically significant. The SUDs for the experimental group were measured before and after each session, and a reduction was observed. A plan to assist social workers in their recovery from the death of a client was proposed based on the findings of the study.
