정서관련 수학교육연구에 대한 메타연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 지금까지 국내에서 수행해온 정서 관련 수학교육연구의 경향을 파악하고 이를 국제 연구의 경향과 비교 분석한 후, 앞으로의 정서 관련 수학교육연구의 바람직한 방향성을 탐색해보는 데 있다. 정서 관련 국내연구는 국내학술지에 발표된 연구를 대상으로 분석한 후 국제 비교 연구의 자료로 사용하였으며, 국제연구는 Eligio(2017)의 연구 결과를 사용하였다. 정서 관련 국내연구와 국제연구의 시기별 논문 발표 편수, 연구대상 그리고 연구주제를 비교한 결과, 국내 연구의 수가 부족하여 경향을 판단하기에는 다소 어려운 측면이 있었지만, 국제연구와 대체적으로 유사한 양상을 보였다. 여기에 더해 본 연구에서는 앞으로 국내 정서 관련 수학교육연구의 방향을 다음과 같이 제안하였다. 순수한 정서 관련 연구는 정서의 특성상 타당성과 신뢰성이 확보된 자료를 수집하기 어려운 측면이 있으므로, 정서와 인지가 결합 된 형태인 정서 지능 개념을 도입한 연구를 강조하며, 미래의 주제라고 할 수 있는 메타정서를 연구에 도입할 것을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the trends of emotion-related mathematics education research conducted in Korea so far, and compare them with those of international studies, and explore the desirable directions for the future emotion-related mathematics education research. Emotion-related domestic research were collected on research published in domestic academic journals and were analyzed and used as a research data for international comparative study. The findings of the Eligio(2017) were used as counterpart research data. Comparing the number of publications, research subjects and research topics of domestic and international studies on emotion, it was found to be difficult to determine the trends due to the lack of the number of domestic studies, but they generally have shown similar patterns. The future directions of domestic mathematics education research on emotion were proposed as follows. Since it is difficult to collect reasonable and reliable data on pure emotion due to the nature of emotion in mathematics education research, it is suggested to introduce the concept of emotional intelligence that is the combination of emotion and cognition. Also it was recommended to utilize the concept of meta-emotion for future study on emotion related research.
