스토리텔링 수업이 수학학습부진학생의 수학적 태도에 미치는 영향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 스토리텔링 수학 수업을 통하여 중학교 3학년 수학학습부진학생들의 수학적 태도를 긍정적으로 변화시켜 수학에 대한 흥미를 가지게 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 수학 성적이 하위 20% 이하인 학생 5명을 선정하여 함수 단원의 스토리텔링 학습자료를 구성하여 18주동안 36시간의 수업을 진행한 후, 수학적 태도에 관한 사전·사후 설문과 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 사전·사후 설문의 평균이 증가하였고, SPSS 대응표본 t-검정도 통계적으로 유의미한 결과를 얻었다. 특히 수학적 태도의 여러 세부 항목들을 각각 분석한 결과 ‘학습 기술 적용’에서 가장 큰 변화를 보였으며, 다음으로는 ‘흥미도’, ‘자율 학습’ 순으로 긍정적인 변화를 확인할 수 있었다. 그러므로 스토리텔링 수업이 중학교 3학년 수학학습부진학생의 수학적 태도에 긍정적인 효과를 미침을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of the storytelling teaching on the mathematical attitudes of Mathematics underachieved third grade middle school students. 5 students with lower than 20% of math grades were selected and provided 36 hours of storytelling teaching program in 18 weeks. And the students were taken the mathematical attitudes questionnaires before and after the storytelling teaching classes. As a result of the study, the mean of the before and after questionnaires was increased, and SPSS t-test also had statistically significant results. In particular, the various details of mathematical attitudes revealed the greatest positive change in ‘the application of learning technology’, followed by ‘interest’ and ‘self-study’. Therefore that storytelling teaching program has a positive effect on the mathematical attitudes of underachieved students.
