국문 초록

대학수학능력시험 수학 영역의 표준점수 산출 및 제공 방식은 1999년 이래로 여러 변천 과정을 거쳐 왔다. 최근에는 2015 개정 교육과정의 문·이과 통합 취지에 따라 2022학년도 대학수학능력시험부터 공통+선택형 구조에서의 표준점수 산출 방식이 적용되고 있다. 그러나 이러한 통합 취지와는 별개로, 산출 방식에 대한 낮은 이해도에서 비롯된 많은 우려가 제기되고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 이에 대한 올바른 논의의 장이 마련될 수 있도록, 공통+선택형 구조에서의 표준점수 산출 방식의 핵심이라 할 수 있는 ‘공통과목 원점수의 평균, 표준편차’와 ‘선택과목 조정점수의 평균, 표준편차’의 관계에 대하여 살펴보고, 가상 데이터를 활용하여 2021·2022학년도 대학수학능력시험 수학 영역 표준점수 산출 방식을 비교하였다. 이를 바탕으로 교사의 표준점수 산출 방식에 대한 이해도를 제고할 수 있는 연수 자료를 개발하고, 고등학교 교사 10명을 대상으로 연수를 실시하여 그 효용성을 검증하였다. 끝으로 표준점수 산출 방식에 대한 교사 이해도 제고의 중요성과 시사점에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The method of calculating and providing standard scores in the mathematics area of CSAT(college scholastic ability test) has undergone various changes since 1999. Recently, the standard score calculation method in a common+elective structure has been applied since the 2022 CSAT in accordance with the purpose of integrating liberal arts and natural sciences in the 2015 revised curriculum. However, apart from the purpose of this integration, many concerns have been raised due to low understanding of the calculation method. In this study, the relationship which is the core of the standard score calculation method in the common+elective structure, between ‘average and standard deviation of the raw score of the common subject’ and ‘average and standard deviation of the adjusted score of the elective subject’ was examined. In addition, using virtual data, the standard score calculation method in the mathematics area of the 2021 and 2022 CSAT was compared. Based on this, training materials that can enhance teachers' understanding of the standard score calculation method were developed, and the effectiveness was verified by conducting training for 10 high school teachers. Finally, the importance and implications of improving teachers' understanding of the standard score calculation method were discussed.
