성인지 교육이 예비교사들의 성인지 감수성에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 예비교사들의 전반적인 성인지 감수성을 조사하고, 교원양성과정의 성인지 교육이 예비교사들의 변인에 따른 성인지 감수성 차이를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 충청도 소재 K 대학의 예비교사 174명을 대상으로 성인지 감수성에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사 결과를 바탕으로 일반적 특성을 파악하기 위한 빈도분석과 변인에 따른 차이를 파악하기 위해 t-test와 One-way ANOVA를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 예비교사들의 전반적인 성인지 감수성은 매우 높은 편이며, 하위 측면 중 인지적 측면이 가장 높고 다음으로 의지적 측면, 환경적 측면 순으로 나타나났다. 또한 예비교사들의 변인에 따른 성인지 감수성을 비교한 결과 예비교사의 성별에 따라 유의미한 차이가 나타났으나 성인지 교육 경험과 학년은 성인지 감수성에 별다른 차이를 나타내고 있지 않았다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 첫째, 현재 연간 1회인 성인지 교육은 세대에 따른 성인지 감수성 변화를 반영하여 축소할 필요가 있고, 둘째, 성인지 교육 프로그램의 구성 및 운영에 있어서 성별에 따른 차이와 환경적 측면을 고려한 맞춤형 성인지 교육 프로그램을 개발 및 적용해야 한다는 것을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, we investigated the overall gender sensitivity of pre-service teachers and tried to find out the differences in gender sensitivity among pre-service teachers according to variables. To this end, a survey was conducted on gender sensitivity of 174 pre-service teachers at K University in Chungcheong-do. Based on the survey results, frequency analysis to identify general characteristics and t-test and one-way ANOVA were conducted to identify differences according to variables. As a result of the study, the overall gender sensitivity of pre-service teachers was very high, and among the sub-aspects, the cognitive aspect was the highest, followed by the volitional aspect and the environmental aspect. In addition, as a result of comparing the gender sensitivity of the pre-service teachers according to the variables, a significant difference was found according to the gender of the pre-service teachers, but the gender awareness education experience and grade did not show a significant difference in gender sensitivity. Based on the research results, first, gender awareness education, which is currently held once a year, needs to be reduced by reflecting changes in gender sensitivity according to generations. It was argued that a customized gender awareness education program considering aspects should be developed and applied.
