민간단체 지원을 받는 자립준비청년의 자립과정에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 만 18세가 되어 아동양육시설을 퇴소한 자립준비청년의 자립과정을 지원하는 민간단체를 기반으로 한 각종 체계의 상호작용을 연구하였다. 민간단체인 사단법인 크로스로드 비빌언덕사업을 통하여 지원을 받는 자립준비청년 중 11명을 초점집단으로 7회 인터뷰하여 질적연구 방법인 인터뷰분석을 하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 보호종료 후 자립하면서 좋았던 점은 공동체에서 벗어나 규칙을 지키지 않아도 되고 자유를 만끽할 수 있는 만족감이다. 힘들었던 점은 심리적 및 정신적 어려움, 일상생활의 어려움, 학교생활 부적응, 경제적 및 돈 관리문제가 발생하였다. 둘째, 비빌언덕사업을 통해 자립준비청년이 받은 정책은 심리적 및 정신적 안정감, 일상생활 해결, 진로 및 경제적 지원이었다. 자립준비청년의 변화는 지원에 받은 것에 대한 감사로 다른 사람을 위한 봉사를 통한 선(善)한 영향력을 발휘하고 싶다며 타인을 배려하는 마음이 나타났다. 셋째, 비빌언덕사업에 대한 인지는 모든 부분에서 감사한 마음과 아쉬움이 없으며, 비빌언덕을 소중한 가족과 같은 존재로 인식하고 있었다. 비빌언덕사업에 대한 기대사항은 심리적 및 정서적인 상담, 진로 및 취업에 대한 전문적인 조언, 주거 및 경제적인 정보제공으로 고찰되었다.

영문 초록

This research studied the interactions of various systems based on private organizations that support the independence process of independence preparatory youth who left the child care facility at the age of 18. Eleven of the youth preparing for independence supported through the private organization which is the Crossroad Bibil Hill Project were interviewed seven times as a focus group to analyze the interview which is a qualitative research method. As a result of the study, first, the good thing about being independent after the end of protection is the satisfaction of being able to enjoy freedom without having to follow the rules outside the community. Difficulties including psychological and mental difficulties, difficulties in daily life, maladjustment to school life, and economic and money management problems. Second, the policies that the youth preparing for independence received through the Bibil Hill Project were psychological and mental stability, daily life solutions, career and economic support. The change in the independence preparation youth showed a caring mind for others, saying that they wanted to exert a good influence through service for others with gratitude for receiving support. Finally, recognition of the Bibil Hill Project was that there was no regret of gratitude and regret in all aspects, and that the Bibil Hill was recognized as a precious family. Expectations for the Bibil Hill project were considered through psychological and emotional counseling, professional advice on career and employment, and provision of residential and economic information.
