유아교사의 수학적 상호작용 척도 타당화 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 유아교사의 수학적 상호작용을 측정하는 척도를 타당화하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 연구대상은 유아반을 맡고 있는 서울, 인천, 경기 지역의 302명의 교사들이다. 평균, 표준편차, 카이검증, Cramer’s V, 탐색적 및 확인적 요인분석, 적률상관관계, 그리고 Cronbach’s 가 산출되었다. 첫째, 유아기 부모의 수학적 상호작용 척도 문항을 유아기관의 상황에 적합하게 수정하여 전문가로부터 내용타당도를 검증받은 24개 문항은 문항변별도에서 모두 양호하였다. 24개 문항에 대해 탐색적 요인분석을 실시한 결과 2개 요인의 13개 문항이 추출되었다. 둘째, 이 요인구조는 확인적 요인분석을 통한 구성타당도, 준거타당도, 신뢰도를 확보하고 있음이 증명되었다. 결론적으로, 유아교사의 수학적 상호작용 척도는 “놀이 및 일상적 상호작용” 8문항, “동화책 상호작용” 5문항, 총 13문항으로 타당화되었다. 이 척도를 통해 유아교사의 수학적 상호작용에 대한 후속 연구가 활성화될 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to validate a scale that can measure the mathematical interaction of early childhood teachers. The subjects comprised 302 teachers of 3-5-year-old children. Means, standard deviation, x2, Cramer s V, exploratory & confirmatory factor analysis, Pearson correlations, and Cronbach s α were calculated. First, 24 items of original parental scale of mathematical interaction were revised to suit early childhood institutions, reviewed by professionals to attain content validity, and all of these items were identified as proper through confirmation of item adequacy. These items were edited down to a final list of 13 items representing 2 factors identified by exploratory factor analysis. Second, this 13-item 2-factor scale was shown to have adequate construct validity, norm validity, and reliability by confirmatory factor analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, Cronbach s α. In conclusion, the final mathematical interaction scale for early childhood teachers was composed of 12 items with 2 factors: 8 items of “play and daily interaction” and 5 items of “picture book interaction”. It is expected that follow-up studies on the mathematical interaction of early childhood teachers will be activated through this scale.
