국문 초록

이 연구는 텔레코칭을 통한 긍정적 행동지원이 자폐성장애 유아의 울화행동 및 공격행동에 미치는 영향을 확인하고자 하였다. 대상 유아는 어린이집에 다니고 있는 자폐성장애 유아 1명을 대상으로 행동 간 중다 기초선 설계(multiple baseline design across behaviors)를 활용하여 긍정적 행동지원을 실시하였다. 대상 유아의 울화행동 및 공격행동이 빈번하게 발생하는 가정의 수면을 준비하는 상황에서 기능적 행동평가와 배경사건 및 선행사건 전략, 대체행동 교수전략, 후속 결과 전략을 포함하는 다요소적인 긍정적 행동지원 중재를 실시하였다. 연구결과 텔레코칭 중재를 통한 긍정적 행동 지원 중재는 연구 참여 유아의 울화행동 및 공격 행동감소에 효과적이었으며, 중재 종료 후에도 울화행동 및 공격행동 감소의 효과가 유지되었다. 본 연구는 자폐성장애 유아의 개별 발달 특성과 가정생활에서 나타나는 행동의 기능을 파악하여 텔레코칭을 통한 긍정적 행동지원을 실행함으로써 행동중재 적용이 자폐성장애 자녀를 둔 부모에게 효과적인 가정에서의 중재 방법이 될 수 있음을 시사한다. 또한 가정뿐 아니라 어린이집과 유치원, 발달센터 등 다양한 환경으로의 일반화 가능성을 제시하였다는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of mother-implemented positive behavior support through tele-coaching on tantrum and aggressive behaviors of a young child with autism spectrum disorder(ASD). This study used tele-coaching to train a mother of the child with ASD in developing antecedent-based strategies, alternative behavior teaching strategies, and consequence-based strategies to decrease tantrum and aggressive behaviors of the child with ASD. A multiple-baseline intervention across behaviors was utilized. Results demonstrated decreased tantrum and aggressive behaviors with the child with ASD, and the mother implemented the intervention strategies accurately and consistely. Changes in the child behavior maintained up to three weeks and were generalized across different settings. This study suggests that tele-coaching can be an effective service delivery model to train parents how to develop positive behavior support strategies for their children with ASD.
