점수 연계 방법과 표집 크기에 따른 Hieronymus 방법에 의한 수직 척도 속성의 차이 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 다분형 문항으로 구성된 검사에서 Hieronymus 방법으로 수직 척도를 개발할 때, 점수 연계 방법과 표집 크기에 따른 수직 척도의 속성(평균, 표준편차, 효과크기)에서의 차이를 밝히는데 있다. 점수 연계 방법으로 Tucker(TK) 방법, Levine 진점수(LT) 방법, Braun-Holland(BH) 방법, 명목 가중 평균동등화(NW) 방법을 고려하고, 표집 크기는 500명, 1,000명, 3,000명을 조건에 포함했다. 공통문항 비동등 집단 설계에서 각 표집 크기 조건별로 이요인 등급반응 모형으로 모의 자료를 생성했다. 각 점수 연계 방법으로 6개 학년의 점수를 연계한 후 Hieronymus 방법으로 수직 척도를 개발하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, LT 방법과 NW 방법이 TK 방법 및 BH 방법에 비해 Hieronymus 방법에 의한 수직 척도를 위한 점수 연계 방법으로 더 적절했다. 둘째, 각 점수 연계 방법 내에서 표집의 크기에 따른 수직 척도 속성 차이는 크지 않았고, 또한 점수 연계 방법에 의한 차이에 비해 표집 크기에 따른 수직 척도 속성 차이는 상대적으로 매우 작았다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences in properties (mean, standard deviation, and effect size) of vertical scales by the Hieronymus scaling method with different linking methods and sample sizes. The linking methods considered are the Tucker method (TK), Levine true score method (LT), Braun-Holland method (BH), and nominal weight mean equating (NW). The sample sizes of 500, 1,000, 3,000 are included. Under each sample size conditions item parameters of the bifactor graded response model, simulees, and item responses of 4 performance tasks were generated 100 times repeatedly. The four linking methods were applied to link test forms of 6 grades and the Hieronymus method was used to make vertical scales. The split-plot method was used to compare the means of properties of the vertical scales. The results show that firstly LT and NW produced the very similar results and were closer to the target means of each grade, compared to TK and BH. Second, within the linking method, the properties of the vertical scales were not significantly different across the sample sizes.
