한려해상국립공원의 퇴적물 분포 특성 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 국립공원 연구 1호를 이용하여 2012년과 2013년 한려해상국립공원 주변해역에서 표층퇴적물과 부유퇴적물의 분포특성을 연구하였다. 표층퇴적물의 평균입도는 동계에 5.94Φ (2.1~7.6Φ), 하계에 2.35Φ (3.4~7.3Φ)로서 하계에 조립한 경향을 보였다. 이는 세립질 퇴적물이 공급이 줄거나 또는, 바닥으로부터 재부유작용에 의한 세립질의 거동이 증가된 것으로 추측된다. CTD SBE 19 Plus(Sea-Bird Electronics)의 광전도측정기(Transmissometer)를 이용하여 수층의 수괴혼탁도를 측정하고, 해수를 여과하여 부유퇴적물 농도를 분석한 결과, 한려해상국립공원의 동부지역 보다 서부지역의 연안 지역에서 고탁도의 플럼이 하계에 증가되었다. 이것은 남해동부에 분포하던 고농도저층부유퇴적물이 연안으로 밀려서 축소되거나 또는, 집적된 결과로 해석된다. 한려해상국립공원의 연안에 분포하는 퇴적물의 분포특성을 파악함으로서 세립질 퇴적물 관리가 시급히 이루어져야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to estimate distribution and behavior of suspended and surface sediment, was performed in the Hallyeohaesang National Park by using Van Veen Grab sampler and optical instrument, ‘Beam Transmissometer’. Mean grain size of surface sediment was 5.94Φ(2.1~7.6Φ) at winter, and 2.35Φ (3.4~7.3Φ) at summer season. The sediment of bottom of summer showed coarser than winter season. The process affecting the resuspension near bed populations and increase of fine-grained sediment transport by bottom flux can occur in the water column. The turbidity of water column provides vertical profiling of suspended sediment using Beam Transmissometer of CTD SBE 19 Plus(Sea-Bird Electronics). The distribution of suspended sediment was higher turbidity plume of eastern than western of track lines in the Hallyeohaesang National Park, during summer season. The higher plume of bottom water was dependent on the aggregate and transport of the fine-grained suspended particles from open sea to closed sea. It is suggested that source and environment of fine grained sediment will study to associated with the accumulation of suspended particulate matters.
