북한산국립공원 둘레길의 조류 서식과 딱다구리류의 탐방객에 대한 민감도

국문 초록

둘레길은 저지대인 산림의 가장자리 지역에 조성된 길로서 자연환경에 대한 영향을 줄이면서도 많은 사람들이 쉽게 이용할 수 있다는 이점이 있다. 2010년 북한산 둘레길의 개통 이래 탐방객이 급증하고 있는데 이것이 생태계에 어떠한 영향을 끼치는지 연구가 필요하다. 본 조사는 북한산 둘레길 주변의 조류 서식현황을 파악하고 산림성 조류인 딱다구리류(Picidae)를 대상으로 둘레길에 대한 민감도를 살펴보고자 수행되었다. 조사는 2010년 10월6,7, 8, 29, 30일(5일간)에 북한산 둘레길 12개 구간에서 수행되었다. 북한산 둘레길 주변에서는 산림성 조류인 박새(Parus major)와 쇠박새(Parus palustris) 등이 우점하였으며 개활지나 농경지를 주로 이용하는 참새(Passer montanus), 까치(Pica pica) 등도 관찰되었다. 딱다구리류는 쇠딱다구리(Dendrocopos kizuki), 청딱다구리(Picus canus), 큰오색딱다구리(Dendrocopos leucotos), 오색딱다구리(Dendrocopos major) 등 총 4종이 관찰되었으며 길에서 10~20 m 이내의 거리에서 주로 관찰되었다. 탐방객에 대한 민감도는 종별로 차이가 있는 것으로 보인다. 큰오색딱다구리의 경우는 길에서 가까운 곳(5 m 이내)에서 취식활동을 하는 것이 관찰되었으며 탐방객의 활동에 큰 영향은 받는 것으로 보였으나 오색딱다구리나 쇠딱다구리의 경우에는 탐방객들의 활동에 민감한 반응을 보였다. 앞으로 둘레길이 조류에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해서는 자세한 연구가 필요하다.

영문 초록

Dulegil in Bukhansan National Park of Korea is a lowland trail. It has been located in lowland encourages people to use lower parts of the park instead of upper parts of it. This reduces the impact of human activities on natural environment and help people have easier access to Bukhansan National Park. However, the impact of Dulegil on wildlife has been little known yet since Dulegil has been opened. This study was carried out in 12 trails of Dulegil on 6th ,7th, 8th, 29th, 30th (5days) in October 2010 to investigate bird distribution and human disturbance on woodpeckers in Dulegil. In this survey, great tits (Parus major) and marsh tits (Parus palustris) which mainly live in forest were most frequently observed and lowland birds such as tree sparrows (Passer montanus) and black-billed magpies (Pica pica) were also observed in many trails of Dulegil. There were 4 species of woodpeckers: grey-headed woodpeckers (Picus canus), great spotted woodpeckers (Dendrocopos major), white-backed woodpeckers (Dendrocops leucotos) and lesser spotted woodpeckers (Dendrocopos minor). Woodpeckers frequently foraged within 10 to 20 m apart from Dulegil and they were disturbed by human differently. Great spotted woodpeckers were usually observed foraging within 5 m from the trail and they seem to be less sensitive to people while lesser spotted woodpeckers and Great spotted woodpeckers tend to be sensitive to people in Dulegil. Further investigation is required to draw firm conclusions.
