영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference of challenge in response to the latent profile classification of grit of high school Taekwondo athletes. In order to achieve this, a sample of 644 high school Taekwondo players living in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Incheon were used for the final analysis. The acquired data was analyzed through the frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, verified by applying the latent profile analysis and one-way ANOVA using jamovi 1.0.1, Mplus 8.1 program. The results of this study were as follows. First, profile analysis on grit, it was found that harmonious passion and interest retention were grouped into three groups, and effort persistence was categorized into two groups. Second, as a result of examining the average difference of challenge according to the potential profile classification of grit, It was found that the higher level class perceived the highest level of challenge than the other group, which is a high level class in all of the sub-factors of grit. In consideration of the characteristics of athletes, it was suggested that grit is a causative variable explaining the challenge.
