비선호시설의 수용성에 대한 개인의 사회경제적 특성 연구

국문 초록

비선호시설과 관련한 공공갈등이 빈번하게 발생함에 따라 비선호시설의 입지수용성에 대한 연구의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 그러나 공공갈등 연구는 사례연구에 치중해있어 통계를 활용한 계량연구의 필요성도 제기되고 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 ‘2018 한국복지패널’ 결과를 활용하 여, 개인의 경제적 특성을 독립변수, 개인의 심리적 특성을 매개변수, 비선호시설 수용성을 종속변수로 설정하여 분석을 진행하였다. 구조방정식 모형을 이용한 경로분석 결과, 소득과 수입 만족도는 비선호시설 수용성에 통계적으로 유의미한 결과가 나타났으며, 소득은 자아존중감을 매개로, 자산은 우울감을 매개로, 수입만족도는 자아존중감과 우울감을 매개로 비선호시설 수용성에 통계적으로 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 비선호시설 입지 결정시, 개인의 경제적･심리적 특성을 고려해야 한다는 측면에서 본 연구는 의미를 갖는 다. 한편, 추후 연구에서 추가적인 변수의 투입, 종단적 연구 등을 보완한다면 비선호시설 수용 성에 대한 더욱 깊이 있는 논의가 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

The need for research on the unwanted facilities is increasing due to frequent public conflicts related to unwanted facilities. However, public conflict studies are focused on case studies, raising the need for quantitative research using statistics. Accordingly, this study conducted an analysis using the results of the “2018 Korea Welfare Panel” by setting the economic characteristics of individuals as independent variables, the psychological characteristics of individuals as parameters, and the acceptability of unwanted facilities as dependent variables. A path analysis using a structural equation model showed that income and revenue satisfaction had a statistically significant effect on the acceptability of unwanted facilities, with income by the medium of self-respect, assets by the medium of depression, and income satisfaction by the medium of self-respect and depression. Based on the research results, this study is meaningful in that it is necessary to consider the economic and psychological characteristics of individuals when determining the location of unwanted facilities. On the other hand, it is expected that further in-depth discussions on the acceptability of unwanted facilities will be possible if additional variables are added in further studies and longitudinal studies are supplemented.
