여가활동으로서 예비 노년층의 승마운동 경험에 관한 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 예비 노년층의 승마운동 참여경험에 관한 질적 연구를 통하여 이들의 여가활동 활성화 및 개선방안을 도출함으로서 궁극적으로 국내 승마활동의 대중화 및 발전방향을 수립하는데 있다. 총 10명의 연구 참여자들과 개별적인 심층 면담과 승마운동 현장에서의 참여관찰이 중심을 이루었으며 참여자들과의 심층면담, 체험기술지, 문헌자료 등의 자료를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, ‘인생의 재조명’으로서 새로운 라이프스타일의 욕구 표현이 상위범주로 설정되었고 하위범주로서 어릴 적부터의 꿈 실현, 새로운 종목에 대한 갈망, 일․가정을 위해 희생해온 자기보상 욕구였다. 둘째, ‘신체적․정서적 만족’으로서 연구 참여자들은 여가활동을 통한 삶의 질 향상을 추구하려고 노력하고 있었다. 삶의 질 향상을 위하여 인간이 차지하는 두 가지 큰 측면인 신체적 만족과 정서적 만족을 경험하고 있었다. 셋째, 앞서 제시한 ‘신체적․정서적 만족’과는 대비되는 사항으로서 ‘노화에 따른 현실적 한계’가 나타났다. 넷째, ‘새로운 삶에 대한 도전’으로서 연구대상자들은 여가를 통해 보람찬 노후생활 만들기를 준비하고 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze domestic horse riding popularization and development of national direction through the elderly s horse riding participation on the qualitative research. A total of 10 individual depth interviews with study participants and equestrian sports participant observation in the field results were derived such as the depth interviews with participants, experience description, literary reviews. And a review of secondary data, the following conclusions were derived. First, the Life Revisited expressed desire of a new lifestyle as a parent category and subcategory is set to realize the dream of when you were a child, longing for the newest leisure activity, families who have sacrificed for their reward was the desire. Second, physical and emotional satisfaction as research participants through activities to improve the quality of life had been trying to pursue. In order to improve the quality of life occupies two major aspect of human physical and emotional satisfaction, the experience was satisfying. Third, the earlier proposed physical and emotional satisfaction as opposed to practical limitations due to aging appeared. Fourth, the challenge for a new life as leisure, participants were preparing to create a rewarding retirement. Study participants was retirement age and gradually receding from their works, the horse riding was immersed in a leisure activity.
