국문 초록

새로운 교육과정에서 수학적 창의성 교육을 강조하고 있다. 그러나 영재 학생을 대상으로 하거나 특별한 교육 프로그램을 통한 수학적 창의성 교육에 대한 연구는 많이 이루어진 반면 일반 학생을 대상으로 한 일상수업에서 이에 대한 논의는 거의 없다. 이에 본 연구에서는 일상수업에서 수학적 창의성을 촉진하고자 하는 한 경력교사가 교과서의 과제를 어떻게 변형하고 이 과제를 적용한 수업에서 어떻게 발문을 활용하는지 분석하였다. 연구결과, 질문-중심과제 변형이 학생의 수학적 창의성 발현 기회를 확장할 수 있는 것으로 관찰되었다.

영문 초록

Mathematical creativity education is underlined in the new curriculum. There are few discussions on mathematical creativity in everyday class for ordinary students even though plenty of research has been done on it for gifted students or based on short-term educational programs. In this study, we analyzed how one experienced teacher, who tried to promote mathematical creativity of ordinary students in everyday class, modified the tasks in textbooks and used verbal questions in classes applying these tasks. Our study shows that the question-centered task modification can expand the students’ opportunities to enhance mathematical creativity.
