영문 초록

The necessity for being well-known journal has been risen to reveal the research outcomes of a society. The purpose of this study was to improve the quality of Journal of Sports Korean Medicine by comparing the suggestion of request guide for Korea Citation index registered (candidated) journals. The most important and urgent thing is that the journal should be published regu-larly on time, based on well-designed studies collected from organized data to show the distinctions from other societies. The qualification of peer-reviewers who help editors ensure that the submitted manuscripts are among the most important in their dis-ciplines of scientific research should be establshed in details to obtain the reliablity for assess results as well. The present in-structions for authors needs to be revised to standardize the form of edition and the criteria of ethic regulations and the level of penalties for unfair practices should be established to prevent misconducts in research. These efforts might be essential steps for the development of Journal of Sports Korean Medicine.
