국문 초록

이 연구는 장애유아 통합보육 경험이 일반유아의 장애 이해와 장애유아와의 놀이동반 수용에 미치는 영향을 알아볼 것을 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 J시 지역의 비통합 일반 어린이집 1곳과 통합어린이집 2곳을 연구대상기관으로 선정하였다. 비통합 어린이집 만5세 일반유아 30명과 통합어린이집 만5세 일반유아 28명을 대상으로 장애 이해, 장애유아와의 놀이동반 수용에 대한 검사를 하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 장애유아통합경험 여부에 따른 일반유아의 장애 이해에 차이가 없었다. 둘째, 장애유아 통합경험 여부에 따른 장애유아와의 놀이동반 수용에서도 두 집단 간 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 장애유 아의 장애 특성상 제약이 따를 것으로 예견되는 놀이에서 통합기관 유아의 장애유아와의 놀이동반 수용이 비통합기관 유아보다 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 마지막으로 일반유아의 장애 이해와 장애유아와의 놀이동반 수용 간에는 유의한 상관관계가 없었다. 본 연구의 결과에 기초한 통합환경에서 일반유아와 장애 유아 간의 놀이 촉진 필요성을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influences of inclusion to the ideas about disabilities of typical young children and their decision to play with peers with disabilities. The subjects were 58 five years old classroom children recruited from same district, city J. The subjects were devided into two groups. Thirty children were enrolled in two inclusive daycare center s classroom and the rest of them were enrolled in noninclusive daycare center classroom. All fifty eight children were assessed for their ideas about disabilities and decision to play with peers with disabilities. The results indicated as follows. First, there were no differences of the ideas about disabilities of typical children between the two groups. Second, there were no differences of the decision of typical children to play with peers with disabilities between the two groups. But the children in inclusive daycare center more likely decide to play with peers with disabilities than the children in noninclusive daycare center under the condition the play has a predictable limit by their disabilities. Third, there were no correlation with the ideas about disabilities of typical young children and their decision to play with peers with disabilities. It was discussed additionally how much important to facilitate an interaction between with and without disabilities by playing based on the results of this study.
