초등과학영재와 일반학생의 유머감각, 셀프리더십 및 대인관계능력 비교 및 관계 분석

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 초등과학영재의 유머감각, 셀프리더십, 대인관계능력에 대해서 일반학생들과 비교하고 또, 유머감각, 셀프리더십, 대인관계능력이 서로 어떠한 관계가 있는지 분석하는 것이다. 이를 위해 경기도교육청 영재학급 초등 5, 6학년 영재학생 121명과 경기도 일반초등학교 5, 6학년 학생 123명을 대상으로 유머감각, 셀프리더십, 대인관계능력과 관련하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등과학영재가 일반학생보다 유머를 더 많이 생성하며 유머에 대한 긍정적인 태도가 형성되어 유머감각이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 초등과학영재가 일반학생보다 행동전략, 보상전략, 사고전략을 더 적극적으로 사용하며 셀프리더십이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 초등과학영재는 일반학생보다 관계 맺기, 긍정적 의사소통, 문제해결에서 각각 뛰어났으며 대인관계능력이 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 초등과학영재는 유머감각이 높을수록 셀프리더십과 대인관계능력이 높은 것으로 나타났으며 유머감각의 셀프리더십 및 대인관계능력에의 영향 력을 분석한 결과 초등과학영재 중 유머감각이 뛰어난 학생이 셀프리더십 및 대인관계능력도 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 유머감각이 셀프리더십과 대인관계능력을 높이는 데에 긍정적인 역할을 수행한다는 것을 알 수있다. 따라서 초등과학영재 및 일반학생에게 유머감각을 키우고 유머를 사용, 창조하는 능력을 기르는 것이 셀프리더십 전략을 적극적으로 활용하고 대인관계능력을 향상시키는 데에 긍정적인 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to compare sense of humor, self-leadership and interpersonal skills between scientifically gifted elementary students and general elementary students and to analyze its relationship. For this research, a survey about sense of humor, self-leadership and inter-personal skills was conducted, targeting 121 scientifically gifted elementary in the fifth and sixth grades selected and educated in a gifted education institute affiliated with Gyeonggido Provincial Office of Education, and 123 general students. The results were as follows: First, it was shown that scientifically gifted elementary students created more humors than general students; a positive attitude toward humors was constructed and the sense of humor was higher. Second, it was shown that scientifically gifted elementary students used action, reward and mind strategies more actively and have higher selfleadership compared to general students. Third, it was shown that scientifically gifted elementary students were outstanding in all formation of relationships, positive communications and problem solving and their interpersonal skills were higher than those of general students. Fourth, it is shown that among scientifically gifted elementary students, the higher sense of humor was, the higher self-leadership and inter-personal skills. To combine these results, it was learned that sense of humor played a positive role in increasing self-leadership and inter-personal skills. Hence, having elementary gifted and average students to grow sense of humor and abilities to use and create humors would positively help to actively utilize self-leadership strategy and to improve inter-personal skills.
