영문 초록

This study aims to discover the influences of different treatments: Chiropractic manipulative therapy or Mackenzie neck exercise for 8 weeks for groups of university students who complain about cervical pain. The targets of this study are students in Hanseo university located in Seosan. They are divided into two groups of 16 people. The result below was obtained from Chiropractic being performed once every week for 8 weeks or Meckenzie neck exercise for 7 seconds 10 times in a row as 2 sets for 8 weeks. Cervical lordosis angle of x-ray was increased. Apart from measurement 2, measurement 1 and 3 showed significant differences (p < 0.05). The range of motion of cervical lordosis was shown increasing significantly (p < 0.05). Visual analogue scale was shown decreasing significantly (p < 0.05). Cervical dysfunction index was shown decreasing significantly (p < 0.05) According to the result above, it has a positive influence on the cervical spine. Therefore we have proven the grounds for applying chiropractic treatment and Mckenzie neck exercise and think they will help university students with cervical pain rehabilitate and improve functionally.
