국문 초록

본 연구에서는 완벽주의와 학업 지연행동의 관계에서 의지통제의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 이를 위해, 전라북도 소재 초등학교 5, 6학년 377명에게 완벽주의 척도, 학업 지연행동 척도, 의지통제 척도로 구성된 자기보고식 설문을 실시하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 학업지연 행동의 시작지연과 과정지연은 5학년보다 6학년이 더 높게 지각하고, 의지통제의 의지효능착수와 의지효능유지는 6학년보다 5학년이 더 높게 지각하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 의지효능착수와 의지효능유지, 의지필요착수와 의지필요유지는 남학생보다 여학생이 더 높게 지각한다. 셋째, 완벽주의와 학업 지연행동 간에는 유의한 부적 상관관계를 보였고, 완벽주의와 의지통제에는 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 학업지연행동은 의지통제와 유의한 부적 상관관계를 보였다. 넷째, 완벽주의 하위요인인 자기 지향 완벽주의와 타인 지향 완벽주의는 학업 지연행동에 부정적인 영향을, 사회적으로 부과된 완벽주의는 긍정적인 영향을 주었고, 의지통제는 학업 지연행동에 부정적인 영향을 주었다. 다섯째, 매개효과를 알아보기 위해 위계적 회귀분석 한 결과 의지통제는 완벽주의와 학업 지연행동의 관계를 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과, 완벽주의 성향이 있는 학생들은 의지통제력이 높아 학업 지연행동 수준이 낮아진다는 것을 입증하였다.

영문 초록

This study verified Volition as a Mediator in the Relationship between perfectionism and academic procrastination. A total of 377 elementary grades 5, 6 students completed a set of questionnaires assessing perfectionism(Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale : MPS), Academic Procrastination and Volitional Control. The results were as follows: First, Academic Procrastination a low factors, delay begin and delay process Grade 5 higher than Grade 6 perceptions , and Volition control a low factors, volition effect begin and volition effect maintain Higher than Grade 5 Grade 6 showed that perception . Second, Volition control a low factors, volition effect begin and volition effect maintain, volition need begin, volition need maintain Higher in girls than boys are perceived . Third, Between perfectionism and academic procrastination were a significant negative correlation and the volition control was significant affirmative correlation. Also, Academic procrastination and volition control showed a negative correlation. Fourth, The lower factors of perfectionism self-oriented perfectionism, other-oriented perfectionism in the academic procrastination had a negative impact and socially prescribed perfectionism had a positive impact. Volition control had a positive impact on academic procrastination. Fifth, The results of hierarchical regression analysis to investigate the mediating effects that Volition control fully mediated the relationship of Perfectionism and academic procrastination. The results of this study proved that high volition control Students with perfectionism have low levels of academic procrastination.
