하악골 골절의 의원성 병발증의 재건 치험 2예

영문 초록

2 cases of residual traumatic bone deforminty were presented. 1st case; 36-year-old female was traumatized by T.A. 4 months ago and visited to local clinc. The patient received an open reduction on the fractured mandible at local clinic. However, masticatory disturbance was the chief complaint when she visited to our department. Therefore she was admitted to our department for management of masticatory disturbance. After construction of the wafer, she was treated by refarcture and repositioning of fractured bone fragments. 2nd case; 27-year-old male was traumatized by T.A. 2 years ago and visited to local clinic. The patient could not received any operation due to wound infection at the local clinic. 2 years later the accident, he visited to our department for management of the old mandible fracture. On the basis of clinical and radiographic examination, bone defect was found on the left mandibular body area and diagnosed as nonunion of the mandible fracture. He was treated by iliac bone graft for restoration of bone defect and masticatory improvement. Both cases were satisfactorily treated with the proper masticatory function and the esthetic improvement.
