국문 초록

본 연구는 2005년~2014년까지의 노인의 성 생활실태 및 인식 동향을 분석하여 노인들이 행복한 노후를 영위하기 위한 한 부분으로서의 노인의 성에 대한 사회·문화적 편견과 성에 대한 왜곡된 부분을 규명하기 위한 것이다. 구체적으로 노인의 성생활 실태 및 성의식의 변화 동향을 문헌과 선행연구를 통해 분석하였다. 이를 위해 노인의 성생활과 관련된 2005년부터 2014년까지의 학술지 및 박사논문을 중심으로 연구주제, 연구방법, 대상(분류), 주제별로 범주화하여 비교하였다. 본 연구를 통해 얻은 결론으로는 첫째, 연구분야에 있어 간호학 분야의 연구가 다수를 차지하고 있어 노인복지학을 연구하는 학자들이 노인복지정책 수립 및 다양한 복지서비스에 대한 전문성을 발휘하여 노인복지분야에서도 노인의 성에 대한 연구가 활발하게 이루어져야 할 것이며 둘째, 노인의 성에 대한 연구방법이 양적인 연구에 편중되어 있기 때문에 노인들의 성에 대한 성생활의 깊이와 실제 상황을 그대로 드려내어 살아 있는 경험을 재조명해 볼 수 있는 질적연구의 접근이 필요하다.

영문 초록

The paper identifies social and cultural prejudice and distorted aspects of sex of the elderly by analyzing its lifestyle and recognition trends from 2005 to 2014, in order to help the elderly to carry on with happy old aging. Real situation of sex of the elderly and recent changes in its recognition are thoroughly analyzed by reviewing various literature and preceding research. This is carried out by comparing journals and doctoral dissertations from 2005 to 2014 by classifying into various categories like research topics, methods, and subjects(classification). As a result, it is found out that more research needs be carried out actively with the help of scholars who professionally study welfare for the aged, on its policy formulation and developing numerous welfare services, because the majority of existing research is from the nursing department. Moreover, since the common methodology of research on sex of the elderly is only limited to quantitative approaches, qualitative approaches that can uncover the current state and the degree of sexual lifestyles of the elderly are necessary.
