영문 초록

This paper studies the appearance of the heroin from the gisaeng and strengthening of the faithfullness in the 17th. Inncluding of 「Un-young-chon」 「Sang-sa-dong-ki」 which the court ladies appear, the works, which the lower class women appear, are overwelming in the 17th chaungi-novel. This aspect shows that the 17th works arc different form the beginning works in the side the class problem and the love troble. The 17th works are divided into two groups. The one is what the subject fathfullness of heroin is mined by the betrayal of the hero. The another is what the heroine get recognition from the society by the faithfullness. The former have an importance because it formes the tradition which the lower class woman dies tragidly by the man's bitrayal. In the other side, the latter get meaning in the happy ending with 「San-sa-dong-ki」 which the court lady appear. Specially, the latter works, 「Dong-sun- ki」 「Owang-kyung-rwong-chon」, show the influent relationship, in the course figuring the faithfullness of the heroine, with the Korean alphabet novel and the wonmam-hero novel, the oral tradition novel. This aspects accedes to the 18th chaungi novel. Specially, the relationship with the figures of the Korean alphabet novel emlaeges.
