보건계열 대학생들의 방사선사 이미지에 영향을 미치는 요인

국문 초록

본 연구는 보건계열 대학생들의 방사선사 이미지를 조사하여 전문직업인으로서의 방사선사 이미지 향상과 위상을 높이기 위한 기초 자료를 제시하기 위하여 부산광역시와 경상남도 소재 3, 4년제 5개 대학의 보건계열학과 중 임상실습을 이수한 보건계열 전공 대학생을 대상으로 2011년 8월 1일에서 2011년 8월 15일까지 자기기입식 설문조사를 실시 한 후, 자료가 불충분한 17명을 제외한 총 233명을 최종 대상으로 하였다. 자료의 분석은 SAS(ver 9.1)을 사용하여 t-검정, ANOVA, 다중회귀분석 등을 시행한 결과 대상자들의 방사선사 전체 이미지는 3.33±0.46점으로 나타났다. 영역별로는 개인적 이미지가 3.43±0.56점으로 가장 높았고, 사회적 이미지가 3.12±0.58점으로 가장 낮았다. 문항별로는 ‘전문직이다’가 3.99±0.79점으로 가장 높았고 ‘일하기 쉽고 스트레스가 없는 직업이다’가 2.88±0.98점으로 가장 낮았다. 학과별로는 방사선과가 3.46±0.46점으로 가장 높았고 물리치료과가 3.24±0.40점으로 가장 낮았다. 방사선사 이미지에 영향을 미치는 요인은 학제, 대중매체를 통한 방사선사 보도 청취 여부, 실습 시 방사선사와의 직접적 교류 여부, 방사선사 위치 등으로 나타났다. 산학협력과 대중매체를 통하여 방사선사에 대한 사회적 이미지를 향상 시키고 방사선사 개인의 능력과 전문성을 길러 의료기관내 위상을 높임으로서 방사선사에 대한 이미지가 긍정적으로 변화 될 수 있게 노력하 여 향후 방사선사가 전문 직업인으로 발전되어 나갈 수 있도록 해야 할 것으로 생각한다.

영문 초록

Perception level and social position of radiological technologist influence satisfaction level of their job. This study aims to use foundational data to improve perception level and social position of radiological technologists. We conducted interviews and a fill-out survey with 233 students who have been majoring in health-related fields at five universities and colleges located in Busan and who finished internship programs. The study analyzed 233 answer sheets excluding 17 inadequate answer sheets using T-test, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis with SAS9.1. The mean score of perception level was 3.33±0.56. The personal image of radiological technologist showed the best score(3.43±0.56) whereas the social image showed the worst(3.12±0.58). According to the classification of the subject, the answer, "radiological technologist is specialized job", showed the best score(3.99±0.79). The answer "radiological technologist suffered from less stress and workload than others when they work usually" showed the worst score(2.88±0.98). According to the classification of each health-related major, the mean score of students who are a major in the department of the radiological technologist was the best(3.46±0.46) and the students who are major in department of the physical therapy was the worst(3.24±0.40). The radiological technologist have to effort to make positive image in the hospital. It is possible to be developed their knowledge and professionalism by cooperating between school and hospital as well as advertising with mass madia.
