실천공동체(CoP)의 학습 분석틀 구성 연구

국문 초록

지식기반사회에서는 지식경영이 모든 조직의 경쟁력 향상에 있어서 핵심 과제이다. 현재까지 조직체의 지식경영 전략으로 조직학습과 학습조직에 대한 탐구가 이루어져 왔으나 최근에는 지식의 창출과 유통과 갱신의 최소단위로서 실천공동체(CoP)에 대한 관심과 연구가 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 실천공동체(CoP)는 동일한 일, 주제, 문제에 관심을 갖는 구성원들의 공동체이다. 이들의 목적은 그들의 일, 주제, 문제를 잘 해결해 가는데 있다. 실천공동체는 기업영역 뿐만 아니라 일하는 인간이 존재하는 모든 영역에 존재한다. 이 연구는 다양한 영역에 존재하는 실천공동체 속의 학습현상을 탐구하기 위한 기초연구로 실천공동체의 학습현상 분석틀을 구성하기 위한 연구이다. 연구자는 실천공동체의 학습현상 분석을 위하여 실천공동체 관련문헌과 선행연구 분석을 통하여 실천공동체 속에서 이루어지는 학습에 대한 분석틀을 구성하였다. 실천공동체는 자연적으로 형성될 수도 있고, 인위적으로 조성 될 수도 있다. 실천공동체의 주요 구성요소로는 실천공동체의 구성원의 주된 관심사에 해당하는 도메인, 실천공동체의 과제와 문제를 해결하기 위하여 상호작용하는 도구이자 결과물에 해당하는 프랙티스, 실천공동체의 상호작용에 해당하는 호혜적 관여, 공동체 자체 등이 있다. 실천공동체의 역동은 시간의 흐름과 함께 탄생, 성장, 소멸하는 생명주기 과정에 해당하는 종단적 측면과 실천공동체의 참여, 객체화, 실천 등의 상호작용에 해당하는 횡단적 측면으로 구성된다. 이 같은 실천공동체의 구성요소와 역동의 과정을 토대로 실천공동체의 학습분석틀을 지식생태학적 관점으로 구성하여 제시하였다. 향후 이 같은 실천공동체 학습 분석틀을 활용한 실제적 사례분석을 통하여 실천공동체의 학습현상이 규명 될 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

The task of knowledge based society is the management of knowledge to improvement the competitiveness of any organization. Up till now, the research on organizational learning and the learning organization has guided the knowledge management strategy. However recent research has been actively conducted on Community of Practice (CoP) as the smallest unit of production, circulation, and renewal of knowledge as interest in the CoP has increased. In the CoP members of community share common interest in task, subject, and problems. The purpose of this study is to construct an analysis frame of the learning phenomenon in the CoP in order to research the learning phenomenon of the CoP. Researcher constructed the learning analysis frame on the CoP through researching relevant documents and analyzing precedent studies in order to research the learning phenomenon of the Cop. The main elements the CoP are domain, practice, reciprocal engagement, and the community itself. The domain corresponds to the main interests of the members of the CoP. Practice applies to the outcomes of and tools for interactions between the members of the CoP to resolve the tasks and problems. The reciprocal engagement corresponds to the interactions of the CoP. The core dynamics of the CoP consist of the vertical aspects and the horizontal aspects. Researcher constructed the learning analysis frame of the CoP in knowledge ecology point of view based on the elements and dynamic process of the CoP. In the future, the learning analysis of the CoP will be clarified through the analysis of actual case studies using the frame of learning analysis of the Cop as shown in this research.
