한낱말 단계 아동의 의사소통 특성 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 Fey (1986)의 촉진놀이 사용시 한낱말 단계 정상아동과 언어발달장애아동의 의사소통특성을 알아보았다. 또한 두 그룹간 의사소통행동 빈도의 차이가 있는지, 아동 및 놀이조건에 따른 두 그룹간 차이가 있는지를 살펴보았다. 연구대상은 정신지체, 발달장애로 진단 받은 언어발달장애아동 15명과 MCDI- K상 표현낱말수를 일치시킨 정상아동 15명이었다. 연구결과, 한낱말 단계 정상아동은 의사소통빈도가 분당 평균 2.0으로 제스추어만의 행동이 가장 많았으며, 다음으로 발성동반 제스추어, 언어로의 행동, 발성만의 행동 순으로 나타났다. 기능으로는 요구하기, 기술하기, 공동주의집중 및 기타를 많이 사용하였다. 언어발달장애아동은 의사소통빈도가 분당 평균 1.26으로 제스추어만의 행동이 가장 많았고, 발성동반 제스추어와 언어로의 행동이 거의 비슷한 비율로 나타났다. 기능으로는 요구하기가 가장 많고, 주장하기, 기술하기, 공동주의집중 및 기타가 비슷한 빈도로 나타났다. 또한 정상아동이 언어발달장애아동 보다 의사소통행동 빈도를 유의미하게 많이 나타냈다. 놀이조건에 따른 결과에서는 적극적인 촉진놀이를 진행할 때 소극적인 촉진놀이 때보다 더 많은 의사소통빈도를 나타냈으며, 놀이조건 변화에 따른 두 그룹간 차이는 유의미하지 않았다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to compare the communicative characteristics of the languagedelayed children with those of the normal children matched on the expressive language level. The facilitative play techniques were used to elicit communicative intents from the children.There were two experimental conditions for facilitative plays: the active facilitative play and passive facilitative play. Thirty children, 15 language- delayed children and 15 normal children participated in the study. Each child was interacted with the examiner for 60 minutes and the procedure was video- taped. The following result s were obtained from the experiment . (1) The normal children in one-word stage showed two communicative acts per minute. (2) The language- delayed children revealed 1.26 communicative acts per minute. (3) There was a statistically significant difference between the frequency of communicative act of the normal group and that of the language- delayed group. (4) There was a statistically significant difference between the frequency of communicative act of the active facilitative play condition and that of passive facilitative play condition regardless of communicative normality. The one-word stage children used more communicative act s in a facilitative play condition than in the passive facilitative play condition.
