In the course of Buddhism that was originated in India imported to Korea via China, tea was not seen in the six kinds of and India ,but on the other hand. tea can be seen from A Collection of Buddhist hymn(『梵音集』) of A Spirtually enlightened Buddhist Chihwan(『智還道人』) who was a Korean, to A model of manners (『作法歸鑑』). A model of etiquette in Buddhism (『釋門儀範』), gatha for offering (『供養偈』) in these days and the six kinds of offering to which tea was added had a characteristic that it can be only seen in Korea. Korean Buddhism has been much affeted from. The Seon sect(禪宗), tea took a important role in the Ceremony in Buddhism Which mainly perfotant practical practice. The six kinds of offering of insense, lamp, flower, fruit, tea, rice in the Buddhism Ceremony was carried out by 5 and 4 kinds as occasion demands, but offering has been regarded as the best ceremony at in front of Bodhisattva from alive Buddha to today. the Tea Ceremony of Buddhism Ceremony has been representative in Buddhism Ceremony or offering as commandments or clean offering matters and it got over a state which a a seon priest simply drunk the tea Thist reappear original form should a task that temple and teaist must carried out.
