국문 초록

  본 연구는 국내에서 문화적으로 공정한 영재판별검사도구로서 APM의 활용을 돕고자 Rasch 모형을 적용하여 APM 문항의 신뢰도 및 적합도를 분석하고 성별에 따라 차별적으로 기능하는 문항을 분석하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 초등학생 4, 5, 6학년 759명을 대상으로 APM을 실시한 결과, Rasch 신뢰도는 .84로 비교적 높게 나타났으며, 문항적합도 분석결과 28번 문항의 외적합도 지수가 기준치 보다 약간 높은 값을 나타낸 것을 제외하고 모두 양호한 값을 보여주었다. APM 36 문항에 대한 관찰치가 95% 신뢰구간 안에 위치하고 전체적으로 문항특성곡선에 적합하였으며 잔차를 이용한 주성분 요인분석 결과 일차원성을 충족시키는 것으로 나타났다. ‘피험자 × 문항’ 분포도에서 검사문항의 난이도가 피험자의 능력분포 전반에 걸쳐서 잘 기능하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 성별에 따라 차별적으로 기능하는 문항은 13번과 28번 문항인 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

  Advanced Progressive Matrices(APM) has been used in the world because of the usefulness for discriminating students with high potential or high ability who would not noe reported by other measures and the relative simplicity of adminstration and scoring. At present, the use of APM is now demanded in Korea. However psychometric properties of APM have not been demonstrated in Korea. The major purpose of this study was to investigate the psychometric properties of the APM and to validate it using Rasch model. The Rasch reliability was .84 that implies an acceptable level of reliability. The results of residual based factor analysis indicated that the APM has an unidimensional structure, which is consistent with the basic assumption of the Rasch model. Most of the dots(×) were located withing the 95% confidence interval along the expected score of item characteristic curve. The results of differential item function indicated the 2 items were detected as sex-biased items. All the findings in this study suggest that APM can be used as an intelligence test especially to discriminate the gifted.
