국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생들의 숏폼 음악 콘텐츠 활용 실태를 분석하고, 시청 시간과 전공 여부, 그리고 사용자 특성에 따른 음악적 경험 및 활동의 차이를 심층적으로 탐구하는 데 목적이 있다. 총 182명의 대학생을 대상으로 분석한 결과, 응답자의 65% 이상이 하루 1시간 이상 숏폼 음악 콘텐츠를 시청하고 있었으며, 시청 시간이 길수록 음악적 발견, 창작, 소통 활동이 활발해지는 경향을 보였다. 음악 전공자와 비전공자 간 비교에서는 전공자는 창작과 학습 활동에, 비전공자는 음악적 발견과 취미 형성에 더 적극적인 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 군집 분석 결과, 활발한 사용자 그룹은 활발하지 않은 사용자 그룹에 비해 모든 음악적 활동 영역에서 높은 평균값을 기록하였으며, 특히 소통, 취미 형성, 음악적 변화에서 두드러진 차이를 보였다. 이는 숏폼 음악 콘텐츠 활용 수준이 음악적 경험의 폭과 깊이에 중요한 영향을 미친다는 점을 보여준다. 본 연구에서는 숏폼 음악 콘텐츠가 대학생들의 음악적 경험을 확장하고, 창의적 학습과 사회적 상호작용을 촉진할 수 있는 잠재적 도구임을 확인하였다. 향후 연구에서는 숏폼 음악 콘텐츠 활용의 장기적 효과를 분석하고, 다양한 교육적 맥락에서 창작과 심화 학습으로 연결하는 활용방안을 탐구할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to analyze the usage patterns of short-form music content among university students and to explore the differences in musical experiences and activities based on viewing time, major, and user characteristics. Analysis of data from 182 university students revealed that more than 65% of the respondents watched short-form content for more than one hour per day, and longer viewing times were associated with more active engagement in musical discovery, creation, and interaction. A comparison between music majors and non-music majors showed that music majors utilized short-form content more actively for creative and learning activities, while non-music majors focused more on musical discovery and forming new hobbies. Additionally, the cluster analysis revealed that the active user group scored higher in all musical activity domains compared to the less active user group, with notable differences observed in communication, hobby formation, and musical change. This suggests that the level of short-form content usage significantly impacts the breadth and depth of musical experiences. This study confirms that short-form music content can be a valuable tool for expanding university students' musical experiences and promoting creative learning and social interaction. Future research should analyze the long-term effects of short-form content usage and explore strategies to connect it with creative and in-depth learning in various educational contexts.
