발달장애 아동·청소년의 도전적 행동이 음악치료사의 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 발달장애 아동·청소년의 도전적 행동이 음악치료사의 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향과 그 관계 사이에서 자기 효능감과 소명의식의 조절효과를 알아보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연구대상은 발달장애 아동·청소년 대상 치료 경험이 있는 음악치료사 154명이다. 검사 도구는 도전적 행동을 측정하기 위해 K-CSCB(Korean Comprehensive Scale for the Assessment of Challenging Behavior in Developmental Disorders)척도를, 심리적 소진을 측정하기 위해 MBI(Maslach Burnout Inventory)척도를, 자기 효능감 측정을 위해 CAT-SES(The Creative Arts Therapist Self-Efficacy Scales)를, 그리고 소명의식을 측정하기 위해 소명의식 척도를 사용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 음악치료사의 일반적 특성에 따라 도전적 행동 경험, 심리적 소진, 자기 효능감, 소명의식에 유의미한 차이가 나타났으며 심리적 소진은 도전적 행동과는 정적 상관관계를, 자기효능감과 소명의식과는 부적 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 도전적 행동의 하위영역인 자해행동, 공격행동, 비반응성행동, 과잉행동이 심리적 소진과 유의미한 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 도전적 행동과 심리적 소진 관계에서 자기 효능감의 하위변인인 치료관계가, 소명의식의 하위변인인 천직의식이 조절효과를 보였다. 이러한 결과는 치료사의 자기 효능감, 소명의식 같은 내적 자원의 개발은 임상현장에서 발달장애 아동·청소년의 도전적 행동으로 인해 발생하는 음악치료사의 소진을 예방 및 완화시키고 이로 인해 보다 효과적이며 효율적인 치료 결과를 이끌어 내기 위한 음악치료사의 교육 및 프로그램 개발에 도움을 줄 수 있다는 데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of challenging behavior of children and adolescents with developmental disabilities on the psychological burnout of music therapists and the moderating effect of self-efficacy and sense of calling between the relationship. The subjects of the study were 154 music therapists with experience in treatment for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities. As a test tool, K-CSCB(Korean Comprehensive Scale for the Assessment of Challenging Behavior in Developmental Disorders) scale was used to measure challenging behavior, the MBI(Maslach Burnout Inventory) scale was used to measure psychological burnout, the CAT-SES(the Creative Arts Therapist Self-Efficacy Scales) was used to measure self-efficacy, and the sense of calling scale was used to measure the sense of calling. The results of the study are as follows. First, according to the general characteristics of music therapists, there were significant differences in challenging behavioral experience, psychological burnout, self-efficacy, and sense of calling, and psychological burnout showed a positive correlation with challenging behavior and a negative correlation with self-efficacy and sense of calling. Second, Second, among the sub-variables of challenging behavior, self-harm, aggressive, unresponsiveness, and hyperactivity showed a significant difference from psychological burnout. Third, in the relationship between challenging behavior and psychological burnout, the therapeutic relationship, a sub-variant of self-efficacy, and the sense of calling, a sub-variant of awareness of mission, showed a moderating effect. As a result, it was found that developing internal resources such as the music therapist's self-efficacy and sense of calling prevents and alleviates the psychological burnout of music therapists caused by challenging behavior of children and adolescents with developmental disabilities in the field. This is meaningful in that it can help develop music therapists' education and programs to lead to more effective and efficient treatment results.
