만주지역 한국독립운동사적지 실태조사 현황과 과제

국문 초록

만주지역 한국독립운동사적지 실태조사는 1990년대 초반부터 지금까지 약 30년 동안 시행되었다. 물론 2020년 코로나 19로 인해 3년간 멈춘 상태이기도 하다. 한중 수교 이후 한국독립운동의 가장 뜨거운 격전장이었던 만주지역은 한인들의 삶의 터전이기도 했다. 따라서 한국독립운동사적지 실태조사는 저항과 정착, 지배의 공간을 조사하는 방식으로 진행되었다. 2000년 이후에는 국가기관의 지원과 독립기념관에서 전담하여 만주지역 사적지 실태를 조사하였다. 만주 전역에 대한 전수 조사도 실시되었으며, 200여 개의 사적지를 확인, 정리하였다. 이러한 사적지 조사를 통해 한국의 역사이지만 중국의 적극적인 지원을 받았던 역사도 복원하였다. 향후 실태조사는 국외사적지 조사 연구소를 신설하여 별도의 기관이 공간의 역사를 조사하고 기록, 정리 발간하는 작업을 진행할 필요가 있다. 또한 지구 재난 시대 새로운 형태의 사적지 활용방안도 강구되어야 할 것이다. 특히 독립기념관을 비롯한 국내 유수의 독립운동관련 기념관의 경우 사적지 탐방 플랫폼을 만들고 이와 연동하여 교육을 강화함으로써 동북아시아 평화네트를 구축하는 데 장기적인 대안이 강구되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

The fact-finding survey of historical sites of the Korean independence movement in Manchuria was conducted for about 30 years from the early 1990s to the present. Of course, due to Corona 19 in 2020, it has also been stopped for 3 years. The Manchuria region, which was the hottest battlefield of the Korean independence movement after the establishment of diplomatic ties between Korea and China, was also the home of Koreans. Therefore, the investigation of the actual condition of the historical sites of the Korean independence movement was carried out in a way to investigate the space of resistance, settlement, and domination. After 2000, support from state institutions and the Independence Hall of Korea took full responsibility to investigate the actual conditions of historical sites in the Manchuria region. About 200 historical sites were investigated and organized, and Korean history, but history that received active support from China was also restored. For future fact-finding, it is necessary to establish an overseas historical site research institute and conduct the work of a separate institution researching, recording, and publishing the history of the space. In addition, a new form of historical site utilization plan in the era of global disasters should be devised. A long-term alternative must be sought to build a Northeast Asian peace net by creating a historical site exploration platform and strengthening education in connection with it.
