유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 부모역할신념과 심리사회적 안녕감이 교사와의 협력에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니의 부모역할신념과 심리사회적 안녕감이 어머니-교사 협력에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 부산, 울산, 경남에 거주하는 유아기 자녀를 둔 어머니 400명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0을 사용하여 연구 문제에 따라 기술통계, 적률상관분석 및 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 어머니-교사 협력은 어머니의 연령, 학력 및 월수입 수준에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 부모역할신념, 심리사회적 안녕감 및 어머니-교사 협력 전체 및 하위 변인 간에는 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 어머니-교사 협력에 있어 유의미한 차이를 보인 연령, 학력과 월소득을 통제하고 어머니의 부모역할신념과 심리사회적 안녕감이 교사와의 협력에 미치는 영향력을 살펴본 결과 어머니-교사 협력 전체와 하위 변인인 정보공유, 정보추구의 경우 부모역할신념의 하위 변인 중 남녀역할의 구분과 심리사회적 안녕감의 하위 변인 중 사회와 자신에 대한 부정적 평가가 유의미한 영향을 미쳤고, 성인관계의 경우에는 이 두 변인과 함께 아버지 양육의 중요성도 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 어머니-교사 협력을 높이기 위해서는 어머니의 개인적이고 심리사회적인 요인과 함께 양육에 대한 가치와 신념을 고려해야 함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to examine the effect of parental role beliefs and psychosocial well-being of mothers with early childhood children on the mother–teacher partnership. Around 400 mothers living in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam in South Korea participated in the questionnaire survey. Data were subjected to descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS 25.0. Findings revealed the following points. First, there were significant differences in information sharing, information seeking, and adult relation, which are the subfactors of the mother–teacher partnership, according to the mother’s age, educational background, and monthly household income. Second, the maternal subfactors of parental role belief and psychosocial well-being were correlated to the mother–teacher partnership. Third, the role of men and women in parental role beliefs negatively influenced information sharing, information seeking, and total mother–teacher partnership. The negative recognition on society and self of psychosocial well-being variables had a positive impact on information sharing, information seeking, and total mother–teacher partnership. Recognition of the importance of fathers of parental role beliefs variables had significant effect on the mother–teacher partnership. This study demonstrates that it is essential to consider parenting values and beliefs along with the mother’s personal and psychosocial factors to improve the mother–teacher relationship.
