국문 초록

‘안압지’ 유적 발굴은 본격적인 통일신라시대 생활유적 조사 연구의 시발점과도 같다. 유적 조사결과, 궁 내 시설인 연못과 주변 건물지가 확인되었으며 2만 점에 달하는 다종다양한 유물이 출토되었다. 이로써 해당 시기 물질문화를 살펴볼 수 있는 획기적 계기가 되었음은 분명하고 출토 유물은 통일신라시대의 표지 자료가 되었다. 철기역시 동일 맥락인데, 특히 ‘안압지’에서는 통일신라시대 단일 유적 조사로는 가장 많은 철기류가 출토되었고 그 기종 구성이 다양하며 완형이거나 이에 준하는 상태의 개체가 다수 있다. 아울러 7세기 후반, 10세기 전반에 해당하는 유적의 창건과 폐기 시점을 문헌에서 확인 및 가늠할 수 있고 발굴조사 결과 역시 7세기 후반에서부터 10세기경까지의 유물 정황이 드러났으며 출토유물 대다수는 통일신라시대가 중심이라고 보고되었다. 그러나 지금까지‘안압지’ 출토 철기류에 관한 분석적 논고는 ‘철과’ 일례에 그칠 정도이며 안압지 보고서 내에서조차 철기류 전반의종합적 고찰이 이루어지지 않았을 만큼 연구가 부진하다. 그 가운데 연구의 가장 기초가 되는 출토 철기류 전체 현황부터 확인이 필요한 정황이 포착되었다. 이에 본고에서는 보고서와 국립경주박물관 소장유물 목록을 교차 검토함으로써 전체 출토 현황을 최대한 도출하고자 하였다. 그 결과, 검토로써 확인된 재질··기종명·수량의 수정 보완을 거쳐 보고서와 소장목록을 종합한 564점 이상의 출토유물을 확인하였다. 아울러 이를 토대로 ‘안압지’ 출토 철기류의 양상과 특징을 간략하게나마 분석해보았다. 본고는 통일신라시대 철기 연구의 시발이고 중핵적 입지에 선‘안압지’ 출토 철기류 목록을 종합적으로 검토하고 그 양상을 살펴봄으로써 연구의 가장 기초 자료를 제공하고 향후 연구 과제를 제시한 것으로 의미를 찾을 수 있다.

영문 초록

The excavation of the ruins of ‘Anapji Pond’ is the beginning of a full-fledged investigation into the living relics of the Unified Silla Period. As a result of the investigation of the ruins, the pond inside the palace and the surrounding building site were identified. In addition, 20,000 pieces of various relics were excavated. It is clear that this was an innovative opportunity to examine the material culture of the period. And it became the beginning of research as a cover data of the Unified Silla Period. Ironware is the same. In particular, the largest number of ironware excavated from the Anapji site during the Unified Silla Period. In addition, there are various iron models, and there are many individuals whose remaining state is perfect or equivalent to perfect. It is possible to check or estimate the time of the creation and disposal of the ruins in the late 7th and early 10th centuries in the literature. As a result of the excavation survey, the situation of relics from the late 7th century to the 10th century was also revealed, and most of the relics were reported to be centered on the Unified Silla Period. However, so far, analytical research on the ironware of Anapji Pond has been only an example, and it has been sluggish enough that no comprehensive review has been made even in the report. Among them, it was judged that it was necessary to grasp the overall status of the excavated ironware, which is the basis of the study.Therefore, this paper attempted to grasp the current status of the entire ironware excavation as much as possible by cross-reviewing the Anapji report and the list of relics owned by the National Gyeonggu Museum. In the process, many of the excavated relics were omitted from the report, and it was found that the missing relics were registered as national relics. As a result, a list of more than 564 excavated artifacts was synthesized through modification and supplementation of material, model name, and quantity. This provided the most basic data for the study of ironware in Anapji, which will help future research such as ironware analysis.
