국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교육에서 전래동요의 효율적 활용을 위하여 유치원 교육과정의 5개 영역에 적합한 전래동요를 탐색하여 연관시키는데 목적을 두고 있다. 위 연구문제를 분석하기 위하여 교육과학기술부의 현행 2007년 개정 유치원 교육과정(2008)과 한국 전래 동요집 1, 2(신경림, 2009)를 원자료로 비교, 분석하였다. 주요결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2007 개정 유치원교육과정의 『건강 생활』영역과 관련된 전래동요는 「자장노래」외 14개이다. 이러한 노래들은 노랫말을 통해 유아들에게 긍정적 자아개념과 필요한 기초체력을 기르며, 심신을 조화롭게 발달시키고자 하고 있다. 둘째, 2007년 개정 유치원교육과정의 『사회 생활』영역과 관련된 전래동요는 「뻐꾹새」외 12개이다. 이러한 노래들은 노랫말을 통해 유아들에게 가족의 소중함을 일깨워 주며, 친구의 소중함, 가족 이외의 다른 사람과 함께 살아가는 방법을 익히게 한다. 또한 주변 세계에 관심을 가지고 적응해 갈 수 있는 기초 능력을 발달시키고자 하고 있다. 셋째, 2007년 개정 유치원교육과정의 「표현 생활」영역과 관련된 전래동요는 「호박꽃」외 11개이다. 이러한 노래들은 노랫말을 통해 유아들에게 아름다움을 보고 듣는 경험을 하게하고, 풍부한 감성과 심미적 태도, 창의적 표현력을 기르게 하며, 즐거움을 느끼게 하고 있다. 넷째, 2007년 개정 유치원교육과정의 『언어 생활』 영역과 관련된 전래동요는 「나무타령」외 12개이다. 이러한 노래들은 노랫말을 통해 유아들에게 일상생활에서 언어 사용을 즐기며, 의사소통 능력을 기르고, 바른 언어 사용 능력과 태도를 기르게 한다. 다섯째, 2007년 개정 유치원교육과정의 『탐구 생활』영역과 관련된 전래동요는 「봉선화」외 12개이다. 이러한 노래들은 노랫말을 통해 유아들에게 자연을 존중하는 마음을 바탕으로 지속적으로 탐구하게 하며, 자연현상에 대한 기초지식을 이해하게 하고, 논리적으로 문제를 해결하는 능력과 태도를 기르게 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify and connect traditional children songs to the five domains of the 2007 Revised Kindergarten Curriculum. To that end, the 2007 Revised Kindergarten Curriculum and Traditional Korean Children s Songs Volume 1 and 2 authored by Kyung-Rim Shin were compared and analyzed. Major findings are as follows. First, Traditional Children s Songs relevant to the Healthy Life domain include Cradle Song including 14 more songs. The lyrics of the songs can contribute to the development of positive self-image, necessary basic physical strength, and harmonious body-mind. Second, Traditional Children s Songs relevant to the Social Life domain are Cuckoo including 12 more songs. The lyrics of the songs evoke to the children the preciousness of family and friends and help the children to live in harmony with other people other than the family members. Further, the songs can develop the basic abilities that enable the children to have an interest in and adjust to the surrounding world. Third, Traditional Children’s Songs connected with the Expressive Life domain are Pumpkin Flower including 11 more. The lyrics of the songs help the children to experience beauty, promote rich sensitivity, aesthetic attitude, and creative expressive power, and to sense pleasure. Fourth, Traditional Children’s Songs conforming to the Language Life domain is Tree Ballad including 12 more songs. The lyrics of these songs encourage the children to language in daily life, promote communicative abilities, and promote appropriate language use and attitude. Finally, Traditional Children’s Songs suitable for Daily Life Inquiry domain include Touch-Me-Not and 12 more songs. The lyrics of these songs helps children to understand basic knowledge of natural phenomenon and develop logical problem solving abilities and attitude.
