국문 초록

본 연구는 대학생의 혼전 성윤리의식 형성과정에 관한 연구로서 성 가치관 혼란과 성도덕 붕괴의 현실 속에서 대학생들이 어떻게 자신만의 성의식을 형성해 가는지 그 과정과 경험의 의미를 밝히고 이를 모델화하기 위해 Strauss와 Corbin(1998)의 근거이론방법을 적용하여 수행하였다. 연구결과 혼전 성윤리의식 형성과정의 중심현상은 ‘혼란의 늪을 빠져나오기’로 파악되었다. 즉 여학생들의 순결 가치관 형성은 단순한 가정교육의 영향이나 종교적 신념이 아닌 ‘혼란의 늪을 빠져나와 확실한 꿈을 꾸는 과정’이었고, ‘개인과 환경과의 역동적 상호작용을 통해 내ㆍ외적으로 변해가는 점진적인 발달 과정’이라 할 수 있으며 이러한 과정은 개인만의 경험이 아니라 자신을 둘러싸고 있는 환경과의 상호작용을 통해 이루어진다는 것을 발견할 수 있었다. 따라서 대학생들의 인격 속에 건전하고 올바른 성에 대한 인식 및 자각을 길러주기 위해 가정, 학교, 사회 또는 종교가 그 영역을 확실히 하고 맡은 영역에서의 성교육을 일관되고 지속적으로 유지할 필요가 있으며, 소중한 생명의 열매를 맺게 될 몸이 건강하게 유지해야 함을 가르치는 생명교육이 이루어져야 한다. 또한 대학생의 발달과정에 맞는 프로그램 개발을 통해 그들 개인의 몫으로 맡겨져 있던 전략수립과 실천과정을 돕기 위한 시스템을 구축하고 그들이 구체적이고 명확한 비전을 수립하여 ‘확실한 꿈’을 꿀 수 있게 도와야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This study concerning the development process of the premarital sexual attitudes of youth, explores how the young people develop the sexual attitudes of their own, in a situation of the confusion of sexual values and the collapse of sexual morality, and explains the meaning of that process and experience. The study is carried out by applying the ‘grounded theory method’ of Strauss and Corbin(1998). The results of the study point out the ‘Escape from the Swamp of Confusion’ as the central phenomenon of the development process of premarital sexual attitudes. ie, the development of the purity values of the girl students was seen as the process of ‘escaping from the swamp of confusion and dreaming positive dreams, other than the influence of simple family discipline or religious belief. It could be seen as the gradual process of development as changing towards internal and external through the dynamic interaction between person and environment, and so, it could be found that this kind of process is made not only from the experience of the person but also through their interaction with the surrounding environment. Therefore to prepare a healthy and right awareness and consciousness about sex in the personality of the youth, it is necessary that the family, school, society and religion should ensure their respective parts and should continuously maintain the sex education consistent to their sphere. And a ‘life-education’ that teaches the healthy maintenance of the body which should produce the fruit of precious life should be formed. And also it is necessary to construct a system in order to help the strategy and practical process which were left as their personal matter, through cultivating programmes fit for the development stages of the youth and help them to dream ‘positive dreams’ by establishing a concrete and definite vision.
