국문 초록

본 연구는 취업모의 사회적, 교수적 양육태도와 자녀의 심리․사회적 문제 간의 관계를 살펴보고 양육태도의 유형이 자녀의 심리적 건강에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 미취학 자녀를 가진 직장인 기혼여성 200명을 대상으로 사회적, 교수적 양육태도, 자녀의 심리․사회적 행동문제를 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 상관분석과 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 분석되었다. 그 결과, 첫째, 취업모의 사회적 양육태도는 교수적 양육태도보다 자녀의 불안, 우울과 더 큰 유의미한 부적 상관이 있었으며, 사회적 스킬과는 유의미한 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 자녀의 심리․사회적 행동문제에 대해 교수적 양육태도보다 사회적 양육태도가 더 큰 설명력을 가진 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과를 토대로 맞벌이 자녀의 심리․사회적 행동문제 감소 방안 및 후속 연구에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between working mothers social and didactic parenting styles and children s behavioral problems, and to investigate the effects of the type of parenting styles on their psychological health. For this purpose, 200 working mothers‘ social and didactic parenting styles and children’s psychological and behavioral problems were measured. The collected data were analyzed through correlation and hierarchical regression analysis. As a result, first, social parenting of working mothers had a greater negative correlation with children’s anxiety and depression, and positive correlation with social skills, compared to didactic parenting. Second, it was found that the social parenting styles were more important factors in predicting children’s psychological and behavioral problems than didactic parenting. The findings reframe current conceptions of the relationship between parental style and children’s psychological and behavioral problems.
