국문 초록

본 연구는 성장기 부모화 경험과 해결중심사고가 사회초년생의 대인관계 유능성에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보았다. 연구대상은 직장경력 만 1년 이하의 사회초년생 175명이었다. 자료 분석으로 부모화 경험과 해결중심사고가 대인관계 유능성에 미치는 상대적 영향을 알아보기 위해 각각의 상관관계를 확인한 뒤, 위계적 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 대인관계 유능성은 보통보다 조금 높은 수준이었으며, 성장기에 가족구성원을 거의 돌보지 않았고, 불공평함이 거의 없었다고 지각하고 있었다. 해결중심사고는 보통 수준 이상이라고 지각하고 있었다. 둘째, 사회초년생의 대인관계 유능성에 부모화의 ‘불공평’은 부적영향을 미쳤고, 해결중심사고의 ‘목표지향성’과 ‘자원활성화’는 정적영향을 미쳤으며, 이 중 ‘목표지향성’의 영향력이 가장 컸다. 이에 따라 사회초년생의 대인관계 유능성 향상을 위하여 해결중심 치료 기반의 해결중심사고 증진 프로그램과 부모화 경험의 의미를 재구조화하는 상담적 개입의 필요성을 시사하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of parentification and solution-focused thinking on interpersonal competence as perceived by new employees in early adulthood. The subjects were 175 new employees who have worked for under one year at their work. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson’s correlation, and hierarchical multiple regression controlling sociodemographic characteristics. The results of this study were the following. First, participants tended to perceive interpersonal competence slightly above the average. And participants perceived they have rarely experienced instrumental, emotional parentification and unfairness in terms of parentification. Participants tended to perceive solution-focused thinking slightly above the average. Second, unfairness in parentification had a significant negative effect on individuals’ interpersonal competence. The ‘goal orientation’ and ‘resource activation’ of solution-focused thinking had a significant positive effect on interpersonal competence, and ‘resource activation’ was the most influential of all subfields of parenting and solution-focused thinking. The finding from the preset study provide significant insights into providing counseling interventions to improve interpersonal competence of the new employees in early adulthood who have difficulties in interpersonal relationships.
