국문 초록

본 연구는 미술치료가 네말린근병증 발달장애 아동의 자기표현력 및 눈-손 협응력 발달에 미치는 영향을 알아보려는 것이다. 연구는 S시 Y구 소재 장애통합어린이집에 다니는 만 5세 네말린근병증 발달장애 아동을 대상으로 2017년 1월부터 7월까지 주 1회 60분씩 28회의 미술치료 프로그램을 실시하였다. 모와 특수교사를 대상으로 K-CDI아동발달검사, 자기표현력 향상 체크리스트를, 아동을 대상으로 HTP, KFD를 사전, 사후 결과를 분석하였다. 미술치료 회기별 변화과정과 행동 및 작업내용 및 작품 관찰을 토대로 질적 분석하였다. 연구결과 자기표현력의 지적 표현, 정서적 표현, 사회적 표현, 신체적 표현, 창조적 표현에서 긍정적 향상이 나타났으며, 눈-손 협응력에서 매체 탐색, 응용, 세부적 표현과 구체적 형상 표현이 증진되었다. 지점토 결과물은 소근육 발달 및 운동에서 정상 수준으로 향상되었음을 보여주었다. 전체 발달영역은 36개월 수준에서 50개월 수준으로 향상되었다. 본 연구는 소근육 발달장애 희귀질환인 네말린근병증 아동을 대상으로 한 미술치료 효과에 대한 연구라는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study aims to examine the impact and effectiveness of art therapy on the improvement of the ability of self-expression and the hand-eye coordination development of toddlers with Nemaline Myopathy(NM). This study conducted 28 sessions of art therapy with 5-year-old toddles with NM. Each session lasted 60 minutes and took place once a week from January to July 2017. The researcher administered K-CDI(the Korean version of the Child Development Inventory) and a self-expression enhancement test. Pretests and posttests with House-Tree-Person(HTP) and Kinetic Family Drawing(KFD) were conducted for examining the effect of art therapy. The study also conducted qualitative analysis based on the log of each therapy session and behavior observation. The results of the study demonstrated that the toddlers with NM experienced improvement in the ability of self-expression as the sessions proceeded. The findings also demonstrated improvement in the overall level among the toddlers from 36 months to 50 months. The study is significant in providing empirical evidence regarding the effect of art therapy on toddlers with NM, a rare disease that hinders a child’s fine motor development, because there is little research on art therapy for children with a rare developmental disease.
