정주대학 교육과 대학생활 적응의 자기회귀 교차지연 효과 분석 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 강원지역 중소형 대학 재학생들 중 정주대학 교육 참가자를 대상으로 9개월간의 패널 자료를 활용하여 정주대학 교육과 대학생활 적응 사이의 종단적 상호관계를 자기회귀교차지연 모형을 통해 알아보고자 하였다. 최종분석은 기숙사 거주 재학생 341명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 시간의 흐름에 따른 정주대학 교육 간 종단관계 및 대학생활 적응 간 종단관계의 경우 모두 전년도 변인이 일관되게 이후 발달의 예측변인으로 작용하였다. 정주대학 교육은 이후 시점의 대학생활 적응을 통계적으로 유의하게 예측하였고, 대학생활 적응도 이후 시점의 정주대학 교육에 통계적으로 유의한 예측변인이 되었다. 대학생활 적응과 정주대학 교육 간 영향력 크기는 대학생활 적응이 이후 시점의 정주대학 교육에 미치는 실제적 효과 크기가 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 정리하면, 한 시점에서의 대학 생활 적응과 정주대학 교육은 이후의 시점의 각 변인에 유의한 영향을 주며, 교차지연된 상호영향관계는 대학생활 적응이 정주대학 교육에 미치는 영향이 유의한 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to verify the longitudinal reciprocal relationship between residential college education and college adaptation. Three waves of panel data for the undergraduate students were employed for this research. A total of 341 students dwelling on residence hall responded to the same survey on March 2014, and June 2014, October 2014. Autoregressive cross-lagged modeling was performed to analyze the causal predominance between residential college education and college adaptation. Over the 9-months period, stability coefficient of residential college education and college adaptation showed that both variables were significantly stable. Residential college education had statistically significant effects on college adaptation, and college adaptation predicted more residential college education at a statistically significant level. And, college adaptation show a positive relationship on being causally predominant over residential college education. These findings suggest that college adaptation over residential college education has reciprocal causality overtime, and that offering more college adaptation opportunities based the goal for facilitating participation of residential college education is important for the undergraduate students in residence hall.
