국문 초록

통계청(2018년)의 사회조사 통계에 의하면 오늘날 현대인들에게 범죄 발생이불안감을 주는 1차 요인이다. 범죄 및 안전에 대한 현대인들의 관심이 높아짐으로써 범죄를 사전 예방하는 범죄예방디자인(CPTED)의 중요성이 대두되고 있다. 특히 보호 관찰 구역으로 지정된 안심 귀갓길에 셉테드 적용이 필요하다. 그러나국내에 적용된 셉테드 디자인은 공동주택 단지와 학교를 주 대상으로 하여 안심귀갓길 연구는 미진한 편이다. 연구배경을 바탕으로 본 연구는 수원시 팔달구에위치한 안심 귀갓길을 대상으로 하여 셉테드 시설의 가로시설물 중 위치안내 사인을 중심으로 연구하였다. 유니버설디자인 개념을 적용하여 이용자 모두에게 안전한 귀갓길을 제공할 수 있도록 UD를 기반으로 사인물 개선 방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 연구의 진행 과정은 다음과 같다. 기존 선행연구 조사를 통해연구의 이론적 배경을 설명하고, 현장을 방문하여 관찰 체크리스트로 안전성을점검하고 종합 분석한 후 문제점을 도출하였다. 문제점을 바탕으로 디자인 방향을 설정하고 셉테드와 유니버설디자인이 적용된 위치안내 사인의 개선 방안을제시한다. 첫째, 가로등과 CCTV 설치 증가로 보행자의 불안을 감소하고 범죄자가 은닉할 공간을 제거한다. 둘째, 충돌 위험이 높은 사거리 구간에 ‘우선 멈춤’ 노면 표시를 설치하여 사고 위험성을 약화시킨다. 셋째, 직관적이고 명료한 다각도 안내 사인을 설치하여 정면뿐만 아니라 측면, 후면에서도 정보를 알 수 있게하고, 위치를 하향 조정하여 어린이와 휠체어 이용자도 정보를 편하게 전달받을수 있도록 한다. 이러한 방안은 범죄를 예방하고 보행자와 주민들의 불안감을 감소시켜 주민들의 이용도를 높이고 근처 상권의 관광객 방문율을 높이는 역할을할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

According to the social survey statistics of the Statistics Korea (2018), the occurrence of crime is the primary factor that makes modern people feel uneasy today. As anxiety grows and modern people's interest in crime and security grows, the importance of crime prevention design (CPTED) is emerging. In particular, it is necessary to apply the septed to the safe ear that is designated as a probation area. However, the domestically applied septed design is mainly targeted at apartment complexes and schools, and research that listens to peace of mind is ambiguous. Based on the research background, this research focused on the location guide sign among the horizontal facilities of the septed facility, targeting the safe ear-shaped road located in Paldal-gu, Suwon City. The purpose is to present a signature improvement plan based on UD so that the concept of universal design can be applied and a safe ear path can be provided to all users. The progress of the research is as follows. After explaining the theoretical background of the research through the existing previous research, visiting the site, confirming the safety with the observation checklist, and conducting a comprehensive analysis, the problems were derived. The design direction is set based on the problem, and the improvement plan of the position guide sign to which the septed and universal design is applied is presented. First, increasing the number of street lights and CCTVs will reduce the anxiety of pedestrians and eliminate the space hidden by criminals. Second, a "priority stop" road marking will be installed in the intersection section where the risk of collision is high to reduce the risk of accidents. Third, by installing an intuitive and clear polygonal guide sign, information can be known not only on the front side but also on the side and back sides, and the position can be adjusted downward for information even for children and wheelchair users. Can be easily known. Such measures are expected to play a role in preventing crime, reducing anxiety among pedestrians and residents, increasing the utilization of residents, and increasing the rate of tourist visits in nearby trade areas.
