국문 초록

본 연구는 군 간부의 가족갈등이 자살행동에 미치는 영향을 파악하고 직무스트레스의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 군 간부의 자살행동은 한국 군 간부들의 정신건강이 위태로운 상황에 있음을 보여주는 하나의 예로 군대 내 간부 자살행동에 영향을 주는 요인 분석 및 개입 방안이 필요하다. 이를 위해 2017년 6월부터 2개월간 육군, 해군, 공군의 간부들을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문조사를 실시하여 979명의 응답을 최종 표본으로 선정하여 로지스틱 회귀분석을 수행하였다. 연구결과 조사대상자 중 6.9%가 군 입대 후 자살행동을 보인 것으로 나타났다. 가족갈등은 직무스트레스를 완전매개하여 군 간부의 자살행동에 영향을 미치는 것으로 검증되었다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 가족갈등으로 인한 직무스트레스에 주목함으로써 가족갈등을 조기에 발견하고 군 간부의 직무스트레스에 적극적으로 개입하여 자살행동을 예방할 수 있는 실천적 방안을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The suicide behavior of military officers is an example that shows the mental health of Korean military officers at risk, and it is necessary to analyze the factors that affect the suicide behavior of military officers and to intervene. The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of family conflict on suicide behavior and to verify the mediating effect of job stress. To this end, from June 2017, a survey was conducted for executives of the Army, Navy, and Air Force for two months, and a logistic regression analysis was performed by selecting 979 responses as the final sample. As a result of the study, 6.9% of the surveyed subjects showed suicide behavior after enlisted in the military. Family conflict was verified to affect suicide behavior of military officers by completely mediating job stress. Based on the results of this study, by focusing on job stress due to family conflict, practical measures to prevent suicide behavior are suggested by early detection of family conflict and active intervention in the job stress of military officers.
