이혼가정 아동 관련 연구 경향의 역사적 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구는 우리나라 이혼가정 아동에 관한 연구의 변천을 역사적 고찰에 기반하여 이해하려는 목적에서 수행되었다. 특히 이혼이 사회적으로 급격히 증가한 IMF 외환위기 이후부터 2019년까지의 기간 중에 국내에서 발표된 이혼가정 아동에 관한 학술연구의 경향이 어떠한지 연구사적 방법을 적용해서 분석하고자 했다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 총 110편의 KCI 등재지 및 등재후보지 논문을 확보했으며, 수집한 자료를 시기별로 구분한 후 대상 논문의 경향성을 분석하는 방식으로 연구사적 고찰을 수행했다. 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫 번째 시기인 IMF 외환위기 이후부터 2000년대 초반에는 이혼이 급증함에 따라 해당 주제에 대한 학문적 관심이 급격히 전개되었다. 두 번째 시기인 2000년대 중반부터 후반까지는 부모의 이혼이 아동발달에 미치는 부정적 영향을 비롯해 이혼가정 아동의 위험요인에 주목한 연구가 주를 이루었고, 연구의 수적 팽창도 수반되었다. 세 번째 시기인 2010년대 초반에서 2019년까지는 이혼가정 아동 관련 학술연구 주제의 다변화가 나타났으며, 연구주제의 세분화와 방법론의 정교화가 이루어졌다. 끝으로, 이혼가정 아동에 관련된 연구의 경향을 역사적으로 고찰한 결과에 기반을 두어, 해당 주제 탐구의 발전 및 후속 연구의 원활한 수행을 돕기 위해 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to understand changes in the domestic studies of children in divorced families based on historical study. Especially, this study would analyze the domestic academic research trends related to children in divorced families, published from the time of the Korean Currency Crisis when divorces sharply increased in society in South Korea through 2019, applying the historical research method. To achieve this research purpose, this study secured a total of 110 KCI-registered and to-be-registered academic articles to conduct a study of the history of research, dividing the collected materials by period and analyzing the tendency of the papers. The research result is summarized as follows: In the 1st period Korean Currency Crisis through the early-2000s, as divorces sharply increased, academic interest in the relevant topic was rapidly developed. In the 2nd period from the mid-2000s to the late-2000s, most studies paid attention to risk factors in children in divorced families as well as the negative impacts of parents’ divorce on their development, and there was the quantitative expansion of studies, too. In the 3rd period from the early-2010 through 2019, the topics of academic research related to children in divorced families became diversified. Also, research topics were subdivided, and methodologies were sophisticated. Lastly, this study made suggestions to help develop the exploration of related topics and smoothly conduct subsequent studies based on the result of the historical study of the research trends related to children in divorced families.
