『팔선루집(八仙樓集)』에 나타난 자부(自負)와 연대의식

국문 초록

이 논문에서는 『팔선루집』을 통해서, 기생 집단의 목소리를 듣고자 했다. 최근에 공개된 이 자료집은 기녀들의 시회를 분명하게 보여주고 있어서 의미가 매우 크다. 완전한 형태의 여성 시회를 보여주는 자료는 현재까지는 『팔선루집』이 유일하다. 앞으로도 새로운 자료가 발견될 가능성을 보여준 자료이자, 여성 시회의 존재를 구체적으로 증명할 수 있는 자료이다. 이 문집을 통해 팔선들의 정체성과 연대의식을 살펴보았다. 팔선회는 작시음영(作詩吟詠)에 뜻을 두고, 시를 지음으로써 소통하고 친목을 도모하고자 결사했던 모임이었다. 미산거사의 후원으로 팔선들은 자신들의 모임을 이어나가면서, 시를 창작하고 향유하고, 그것을 문집으로 완성할 수 있었다. 『팔선루집』에 실린 작품을 통해서 이들의 동료애와 끈끈한 연대 의식을 확인할 수 있었으며, 스스로를 시인으로서 인식하고자 하는 의지를 확인할 수 있었다. 8명이 모여서 서로를 다독이고 칭송하는 팔선들 스스로를 위한 모임이자, 팔선들의 정신적 결속과 연대의식을 드러내고자 했다. 팔선들은 정체성을 구현함에 있어서, 시인이라는 인식을 확고히 해나갔던 것으로 보인다. 이들은 스스로를 문학적 재능이 뛰어난 시인으로서 정체성을 확립하였으며, 짝을 만날 때에도 문학적 재능이 뛰어나고 문학을 향유할 줄 아는 인물로 비춰지기를 원했던 것으로 보인다. 팔선들에게 중요한 것은 정서적 공감과 교류였으며, 시(詩)를 매개로 이어졌다. 팔선들이 남겨놓은 서문과 발문, 시 작품을 통해 보면 끈끈한 우정이 느껴진다. 서로 정서적 유대나 친밀도가 매우 높았고, 서로 의지하고 기대며 관계를 이어나갔던 것으로 보인다. 팔선회의 모임을 통해, 각 구성원들은 서로를 인정해주는 벗을 만나 스스로 시인이라는 자신들의 정체성을 확고히 보여줄 수 있었다. 이 모임은 술 한잔에 자연을 즐길 줄 아는 풍류적 면모를 지닌 팔선들이 시를 통해 사교와 친목을 도모했던, 정서적 공감과 소통의 문화공간이었다.

영문 초록

In this paper, I wanted to hear the voices of gisaeng groups through the book Palsunlujip The recently released collection is very meaningful because it clearly shows the time of the gisaeng’s poetry club. Palsunlujip is the only material that shows the complete form of women s poetry club. It shows the possibility of new data being discovered in the future and can prove the existence of women s poetry club in detail. Through this collection, we looked at the direction of the ‘Palsunhoe’ and the solidarity of the Palsun. ‘Palsunhoe’ was a group of people who wanted to communicate with each other and promote friendship by writing poems. With the sponsorship of Misangeosa, the Palsun were able to create and enjoy poetry, and complete it with a collection of essays by continuing their meetings. Through their works in Palsunlujip, they were able to confirm their fellowship and a sense of solidarity, and their willingness to recognize themselves as a poet. Eight people gathered together to comfort and praise each other, to show their spiritual solidarity and solidarity. They established their identity as poets with great literary talent. The Palsun seem to have firmly established the perception that they are poets in embodying their identity. In realizing their identity, the Palsun seem to have solidified their perception of being poets, who wanted to meet a mate but also to be seen as literary talent. What mattered to them was emotional empathy and exchange, leading to poetry. Their preface, epilogue, and poems show their close friendship. The emotional bonds and intimacy with each other were very high, and it seems that they relied on each other and relied on each other to continue their relationship. Through Palsunhoe, each member was able to firmly show their identity as poets by meeting friends who recognized each other. This gathering was held by eight people who knew nature and promoted socializing and socializing through poetry. It was a cultural space of emotional empathy and communication.
