분석적 읽기를 통한 대학 글쓰기 교재의 경향과 특성 고찰

국문 초록

본 연구는 두 대학의 글쓰기 교재를 살펴봄으로써 대학 글쓰기 교육의 경향과 현황을 부분적으로나마 분석하고 이것이 어떤 의미를 지니는지를 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 본고에서 주목하는 교재는 경희대학교 후마니타스 칼리지 글쓰기교과고재편찬위원회의 『나를 위한 글쓰기』와 동국대학교 파라미타 칼리지 글쓰기교재개발위원회의 『글쓰기1』이다. 대학 글쓰기 교재 읽기와 그에 대한 논의는 다양한 탐색과 고찰을 가능하게 한다는 점에서 유의미하다. 대학 글쓰기 교재를 통해 각 대학별 글쓰기 교육 커리큘럼을 탐색할 수 있고, 나아가 부분적으로나마 정착기에 이른 국내 대학 글쓰기 교육의 경향 및 지향점이 흘러가고 있는지를 파악할 수 있기 때문이다. 이를 위해 2장에서는 각각의 교재가 어떤 목적으로 집필되었는지를 살펴봄으로써 교재 설계 및 구성의 의도를 분석하고 3장에서는 각각의 내용을 살펴보면서 그 특징이 무엇인지를 파악하고자 했다. 아울러 4장에서는 이러한 두 교재의 의의와 한계를 정리하면서 이 두 교재가 실제 수업 현장에서 어떻게 활용되고 있고 또 더 활용될 가능성은 무엇인지를 탐색하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the writing textbook of two universities to partially analyze the trend and status of university writing education and observe its meaning. The textbooks focused in this study are 『Writing for me』 of Kyunghee University Humanitas Writing Textbook Compilation Committee and 『Writing 1』of Dongkuk University Parameter College Writing textbook development committee. Reading University Writing Textbook and discussion on it is meaningful in the point that it enables a variety of research and study because we can explore writing education curriculum through writing textbook and understand the trend and direction of domestic university writing education which reached partially to the settlement period. For this, chapter 2 examined what the purpose of each textbook is to analyze the design and intention of textbook and chapter 3 examined its content in detail to grasp what the characteristics. In addition, the meaning and limitation of both textbook were summarized to explore how they are used in the class and if any possibility of future utilization.
