영문 초록

Japanese encephalities(J.E.) has been recognized one of the prime important zooneses and arthropod borne viral disease without any particular therapeutic meaning. Since the first isolation of J.E. virus was done with autopsy materials of American soldier at Incheon in 1936 by Dr. Sabin, and the result of local isolation case was done by Korean in 1949 and then, so many research was emerged to know the various aspect but there are all still many parts which could not solve the J.E. epidemiology. Author will report the result of some sero-epidemiological aspect of J.E. cases in Seoul from 1978 to 1982.
